I’m a rocker dude. But this album has always spoken to on me on multiple levels since I was a kid. Hard to pick a favorite but I’m tempted to say this one. I have to listen to this every once in a while to tighten myself up.
What i love is that he created this...when others like Madonna were all "material"...daring, truthful, scary, real feelings we alll felt as teenagers...

First time I heard this song was in early-to-mid 2000s, and even during those days it kinda sounded like something from a near future to me. Almost two decades after, sounds still fresh to my ears.
After years of having this remaster in my wish list I decided to get the original instead, some of the magic is lost here, they buried the reverb effect under this super clean drum and bass shte and I can't stand it.

This song can be heard briefly in the movie Class of 1999, which is a kick-ass B-movie filmed in 1989. Funny how for it’s time, this definitely sounded like something from the near future

First time I heard this song was in early-to-mid 2000s, and even during those days it kinda sounded like something from a near future to me. Almost two decades after, sounds still fresh to my ears.

After years of having this remaster in my wish list I decided to get the original instead, some of the magic is lost here, they buried the reverb effect under this super clean drum and bass shte and I can't stand it.
