you living my dream :) a house near chiang mai and every couple of of weeks a little rideout tour in that stunning nature :) Did you ever ride a honda adv? you think a "adventure" scooter could handel this forest tracs?
Actually my house is 900 kilometres from Chiang Mai!! Yes I’ve ridden the ADV150. Great little bike. Not really ideal for these trails but never forget; the locals go everywhere on Honda Waves. So yes it can be done.
Ok drove all through there thought I recognized that Cafe no waterdal when I was there though. But the sunday I went to go up Doi Inthanon there was the annual bike ride up the mountain. Xouldnt get to the top just to the low point where that big hike is, but was covered in fog and 12c . Glad old mate was ok. I nearly had a truck slide down back into me on the way up doi Inthanon on one of the steep corners. You guys are livin the life .
@Toby_Travels ok so just had to do a check of where I think this is I drove the 1009 off of the 108 and then took the 1284 or 4016 seems to be the same road to Ban Nong Tao, stayed for two nights. Was a hell of a lot of fog on the drive and on the way to Doi Inthanon it was a Sunday and I think this cafe was closed and was super foggy. Most cafes were closed. For the bike ride from bottom of the hill to climb up to Doi Inthanon but was a long traffic jam due to bike ride ( mad bastards) and I only could get to the Kew Mai Pa trail if that's what it's called . I think this cafe was on the 1284? I'm probably wrong but it looks exactly the same.
@@Galvoflysoz Hard to say mate. I have posted my route in the description of this video. It’s true that sometimes these roads have conflicting numbers. Google will say one thing; the street signs another. Anyway. As long as you’re having fun!

The waterfall in the distance when we stop at the cafe has water flowing all year round I think.
Yes the 1192 is bloody dangerous!
Cheers mate.
