    Unpopular opinion: Odegaard this season is better than last one even though he scored 15 goals last season. This season, he's more creative, dropping deep and controlling the tempo

    • @tigerclaw079games3
      @tigerclaw079games3 Месяц назад +8

      Don't think it should be that unpopular tbh, he's been our best player this season especially since Dubai, he's just been so special recently

      @savsmoney602 Месяц назад

      Yeah don’t think unpopular he’s playing in a much deeper role with more freedom

    • @tunguyenxuan8296

      Tbh, he starts this season quite slow when fatigues from last season were still there, and he got couple injury this mid season. Furthermore, he has to play deeper as a main carrier in midfield, which also took him sometimes to adapt. But when he gained momentum and energy, he has explosive games like lately

      not unpopular at all. last season he had to Thanos the fuck out of the game sometimes ''fine i'll do it myself'' this season he creates much more because we have more goal scorers and because Havertz opens the defense up for midfield/winger runs behind the lines. this is why we score more than previous seasons, but also conceede so little, because he doesn't always have to make aggresive runs upfield or be all the way into the opponents box to be dangerous, meaning our Defensive structure is also a lot better as he has a lot more freedom to roam and have 2 really good defensive midfielders in Rice and Partey (when both are fit) to back him up.
      Honestly Rice and Havertz was just what Ødegaard needed to be able to play his style of football to it's fullest potential.

      @@ECILAFootball As a Norwegian we are proud of Ødegaard. I m a Barca fan, but hope Ødegaard wins the Prem with Arsenal this year. Haaland won it last year so for me as a Norwegian it would be great to see them both win it. Great video from you as well. Very informative. Only one thing would top it. They both transfer to Barca and wins La Liga and Champions league 😁

    This is a player that has had this talent from a young age, was passed from pillar to post to gain experience but was never given the love and faith that he needed to truly flourish. He found that at Arsenal and I’m proud that as a club we have a good history of developing and establishing true footballing icons that stand the test of time. I think Martin will be one of these and I’m so glad he found his home with us, the guy is the definition of a baller, with the perfect character to match. And the fans adore him, he is one of us now ❤

    As an Arsenal fan i really enjoy your content and analysis. Couple of things that i would add:
    - Odegaard is the one to start the press, leading others to press where they want the ball to go, he runs so much off the ball it is really impressive.
    - The whole togetherness of the club, from the manager, to Odegaard the captain and the players to the fans really creates a positive emotion that can help give that tiny bit more in games. It is often criticised that Arsenal celebrate wins, or even celebrating a clearance to keep the clean sheet... that teamwork elevates everyone to be that bit better.
    Keep up the good content

    🐙Partey the Octopus is back so no coincidence we see Rice best game at 8 & Ødegaard best peformace in an Arsenal shirt.His press resistance & ball progression is exceptional when fully fit. Hopefully that middlefield trio will be ready to fire again on Sunday. An underrated aspect of Partey that rarely gets spoken about is his ability to receive inside tight midblocks & either recycle comfortably/progress efficiently with speed. Rice & Jorginho almost 90% of the time like to turn & face play in 1st phase or receive on the wide channels(which is no criticism as there are various ways to play as a 6) where as Saliba & Gabi trust Partey to risk receiving & giving Arsenal central access. Arsenal lacked alot of central access against Porto & Bayern. He will be key in this run in

AND I ALSO BET IF WE DO WIN THE LEAGUE I BET EVERYONE TALKS ABOUT HOW BAD THE OTHER TEAMS WERE AGAINST US. BUT ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU FOR PRAISING ARSENAL AND ALL THE OTHER CLUBS EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE A MAN UNITED FAN.

      Thats BS and you know it. Some of you Odegaard haters doesnt understand football and expect him to do everything + score in big games when the rest of the team doesnt show up. He always creates chances, even in big games. Difference is that his teammates cant convert those chances + he runs and runs for 96 min every game. He never stopped pressing even when they were 5-0 up. He could have like other players just relaxed, but he never does that. Start giving him the credit he deserves. He does so much more than playing others through. He use so much more energy than anyone else cause he is involved in everything. A lot of the chances he creates isnt counted as big chances created because his teammates didnt finish and he should have had 20+ assists this season if he had a more lethal forward in front of him to score.

    • @ambienceclarity1123
      @ambienceclarity1123 Месяц назад

      @@In_my_own_mind i am not a hater
      Credit is already given where credit is due
      He did press well and created chances in games.but I am talking about the crunch moment in vital games,I just wish that he could produce the “first time pass to Martinelli at the amex last season” assist more in vital games,that one “pires assist to Henry against liverpool in 04 at highbury where our invincibles moment are a threat” passes. Those kind of moments. Thats all
      I dont want him to become an Ozil with a pressing skills,where he vanishes when the team needed him the most.
      I can see him improving and I got your point about his teammates,but if the teammates cannot finish then why didnt he finish it himself like his goal at spurs and newcastle last season. You can even see Rice is trying to do that.
      Rice is bombing and shoots more now because one partey is back,and two he knows,to win sometimes you had to produce that one individual moments,that one magic gerrard shot outside of the box moment
