Hey there, I have been trading for about a few months now and just about every trade slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points . I try to do top down analysis and MTF analysis, but it doesn't work for me . I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take(I know, it sounds stupid but I was desperate) and get the same result. I'm starting to feel hopeless, any advice for a struggling trader?
Slaps you in the face haha that's funny, Your problem could be that your stop loss is way too close or you're watching your trades too much. Place it and walk away. Or you could just give up, trading isn't for everyone.
First, identify the sectors or asset that are performing best in the current market and only trade within those sectors or asset classes. For example, if real estate or energy is currently performing best, trade something within those areas that meets your specific trading criteria/edge. Avoid everything else.
I liked this comment because it made me laugh 😂but seriously in the end it comes down to experience, you can keep trying different things until you fine the one that works or you can find someone to guide you.

Question on long Trades - Above 100 EMA, close above the most recent (top) dot, buy next bar open with 1:1.25 risk. Stop is the low of the bar (with the top dot) or break of the support dot?
Been testing this strategy on the NQ futures. The profit is mind boggling. Looking forward to the 9/12 stop loss as you could really increase profits with a ratio of higher than 1.25 which is already incredible and the win rate is 80%. Like all things that seem to be too good to be true we shall see. Thank you.

first you only open 1 hour timeframe Second you check a green candle above the line of the octopus third and its the most important thing if the rsi is above 60 boom you take the entry at least your wining 2 to 3 cents no matter downtrend or up trend regards this is the best so futures people welcome home!!!

Thank you for your video’s; I like the fact that you explain the indicators and how to use them and I find your channel really useful. I put this trading strategy into Pinescript and unfortunately on all timeframes it made a loss. On the 5m, I tweaked EMA and introduced the 9 and 12 period EMA but the most I could get out of it was just under 20% in 6 weeks. Happy to share the script to see if you think I have done something wrong as I really like the strategy, but I just can’t get it to make a high enough profit to make it worth while. Interested to hear your views. Thanks.
1:1.25 is too low ,that’s why. It should be at least 1:2. This is where the reading of the market by a professional trader and a novice trusting indicators come . Since all indicators are lagging, use of multiple indicators increase the lag further . The only way is build your own strategy , learn risk management, experience that heart in the mouth feeling while your gainers run. That’s the only way to join the 5% club. If any strategy were be that good, they would be busy making money, not videos. We look for a risk free easy way, which unfortunately is not there, only wishful thinking. The sooner you come into grips with this the better.

So I just looked at the description as regards the squeeze momentum indicator on Trading view. There is a middle line that shows gray and black crosses on that indicator. The black cross indicates low volatility, while the gray cross indicates high volatility. I guess we should be trading only when it is gray to avoid getting stopped out too often.

The one in a million strategy , yes it’s work 95% but risk management should be the top most priority .
An idea for those who want to use PSAR on 5 min. you could take partial profit and trail the rest as long as the EMA5-9 do not crossover & turn against you.
When I scalp on lower timeframes (5 min or below, I often check ema5-9)

Hey, after testing this out for the past couple of days, I have a question (and forgive me, this is my first experience with PSAR and I need to learn more about this indicator), but what is the reason for waiting to enter on the break of the previous PSAR dot/circle e.g. if going long, you say to wait for the Buy PSAR entry candle to pass the horizontal line marking the last Sell PSAR dot/circle. I'm trying to combine this with my knowledge of market structure highs/lows (also trying to better my knowledge of this :))
I guess it is to prevent from the SAR to reverse immediately

I already have a day trading strategy that can make me 30-50% a month, or 60-100 pips a week from 3-5 winning (and about 6-8 total ) trades, which is why I wouldn't have imagined looking up scalping strategies for the 1 min and 5 min charts a month or 2 ago, but I don't have enough money to use that strategy I just mentioned for the lot size I need to make ends meet from trading alone, and I'm a freelancer and work is slow and drying up for me right now, so I gotta try something with what I got to supplement what I'm making from freelancing. I'm take this video (and a few others) into consideration for the next few days. Thanks!

Just finished back testing this over the last 3 weeks - testing 1.25, 1.5 and 2 RRR. 1.25 proved the most profitable with a win rate of 68%. I am testing it now by removing signals that are displaying RSI divergence. Early stages at the moment but proving pretty good at removing false signals. Thanks so much for doing this video.

68% is about the best you will get out of any strategy out there. That's a really high win percent. There won't be any indicators you can use to increase that win rate. Professional traders who are millionaires doing this every day average 60% win rate. The secret is the risk management giving you more reward than losses. 68% is excellent I wouldn't add anything to that. From what I can see this strategy has great risk management and really good entries so less draw downs. You should be able to keep your stop losses really tight.

i tested this on BTC/USDTPerpetual and concluded that it works best on 5min timeframe. 15min is also good but in higher timeframe the stoploss is too far. Hence less target and higher risk. So in my opinion it gives max entries and gains in 5min chart. 1min, 3min are dangerous. Most trades are hitting stoploss in lower than 5min.

I am sharing my thoughts after some testing
- This is doing quite a descent job in ranging market preventing you to enter chop moves
- For those trading futures NQ and ES , I have noticed that SQZ momo confirmation indicator is often late. If you want the trade, you have to take the risk to enter when SQZmomo is about to flip i.e. it's in the dark zone.
- Overall, I like it, but could be a bit complex for beginners to execute (but little practice and it becomes natural)
- I am still hesitating about the profit taking at RR1/1.25, I think there is opportunity to ride it a bit longer with another exit strategy
I have yet to test this but based on the video, it's send to be doing good job in filtering out the chops, I too trade the ES and other futures, totally hate chops
That's the hardest part for me
@@kch3019 On NQ, I check from time to time 1 hour 100 & 200 EMA. When price is nearby or in between, it is usually chop time. That helped me.

Literally I do not know what is happening on RUclips, in one channel the test showed 61%, in another channel 57%, and in my test I got 78%,, but I do not like to share manual test results because they are misleading. In general, I think that it is an excellent strategist due to the large number of opportunities, and it can be developed in several ways.
Regarding taking profits, you have the right to hesitate, and I think that using simple volume and EMA 12/ 9 can help a lot, even finding previous tops or highest levels gives chances and drawing trend lines,,, etc.
@@adventureboy78 thanks, I mostly just day trades using the EMA clouds by Ripster. I just 8/21 EMAs, and 34-50 EMAs, basically just buying pullbacks/shorting bounces to the clouds
Sometimes we do not know if the pullbacks are chops, hence get sucked in to the chops😭

Same here. Just need to be cautious the signal candle with a sudden long wick (false signal) & ragging trend. Other than this, very easy to profit. I am used it at Gold M5.

Pretty simple... if the EMA is moving horizontal or is in general flattening out (sign for trend stop)... dont put any trades... wait for a clear trend direction. Trade with the trend guys... the trend is your friend. GL!

i guess if u r not sure, then put ur tp to 1:1.5 n stay on safe side
For more accuracy Use ema 9 and 12 or 20 .. once you see that the candles became below it or above it( depends on trade positions.. short or long ) .. leave it .. or in other way ( not very accurate ) exit when you see the next P SAR Signal

I did backtest.. BTC-USDT ...Between 15 Feb-1 march.. 100 Trade... % 57 Win Rate... Looking really amazing.. Still İ didn't master this Strategy.. Sometimes it s hard to decide where to put stop loss.. İ will add 200 ema and try again :) i think i can get more than %60.. Thanks for this amazing strategy..

Which indicaters you are using for intraday trading?
i dont like strategies based on 4H and 1D they are only for the some people not everyone cant hold position that long as many dont have great capital so its not compareable and i dont like early bird
I added 1 more parabolic sar , only chang increment from 0.02 to 0.002, when both the parabolic sar give signal in 1 minutes v can tak early entry but stoploss must be accordingly 5 minutes, this also give good results in backtesting

@@freefootballlivestreams add 1 mor par sar and change increment factor in setting, see this two parb sar if so far away from each other in 5 minutes, then go in 1 minutes and if candle break both the sar take entry,so u can got early entry and good risk reward ratio but always follow 5 minutes stoploss, similarly when this two parb sar comes near in 5 minutes do the same as above

Probably at least a 200 or 300 EMA
To determine the Trend Direction use Ema200, for swing trading use Ema12/20, to track price and take profit (trailing stop loss) use Ema 9/6

Hey Pal, so the idea is to add a low period like 12 and an 8 EMA line for trades that continue above or below the Green EMA and move your TP to where they cross.
