Most of the DE Cauldron decks have been locked in at this point, so I would strongly recommend you check the mod out. I would love to hear what you have to say about some of the reworked game pieces. Personally, I think DE cypher is alot of fun.
Wait, so I'm just now getting through trying all the original Cauldron decks and you're telling me there are new versions I get to play with now? Incredible. Gotta love all this Sentinels content
Was wondering when you'd make this. Though i am curious how you'd fix him. If you ask me, having him with cards that aren't reliant on his augs will mostly fix the issue
Where do you even get mods/cauldron? Having fun with both Multiverse and Earth-Prime. I am becoming interested in creating a mod based on my own unpublished comics and stuff.
-In physical, Cauldron cards are available for printout on the cauldron website, and also available for (I think) 1 dollar on Drive Through RPG (profits are split between GtG and Cauldron creator). -In digital, there is a workshop you can get the mods. -I don't know about Tabletop Simulator because I don't care for TTS. Hopefully someone else can answer that.
TTS has several DE mods that include the new cauldron, although with a few differences. Also, please do share your homebrew stuff on the r/sentinelsmultiverse subreddit, I'd like it if more people did that
Yeah, I've tried playing two different games using Cypher and he wasn't able to contribute much either time. I like his theme and the idea of how the deck works, but I think he's just too underpowered to actually make work
Several ways, but the biggest problem is too many one-shots focused on just five cards in the deck, several of them destroying those five cards. So the best fix would be more access to augs and/or permanent support for them. Put more augs in the deck, ongoing cards that buff augs (like making them indestructible), changing destruction to "return to hand", or have powers that support or search/retrieve augs (such as "all players gain life equal to the number of augs on them").
Cypher is an interesting concept. But the execution is very disappointing, and like most heroes from Cauldron. Needs a ton of setup to get going. Meanwhile. To compare directly from Cauldron. Doc Havoc has things he can do without directly healing, among other cards. Not only that. All of Havoc's varients are good. Especially 2199 Havoc. [Who is a reference to Cyborg from teen titans] Hopefully. De Cauldron fixes everything wrong with Cypher.

The cauldron staple, way too much setup, and a bunch of variants that need the setup, and one variant that works because it actually gets you going.
Haha, yeah it's true
