An important note is that if you teleport korin or marilee the boss will do the aoe attack instead of tiping honey on the melee heros potentially delaying the mega swarm if the boss does his random honey targeting on vala.
I did a run earlier today without any melee heroes to just let Vala use her ult and teleport into melee range. The boss did do his 400% more, but it was so early in the match that the damage was negligible.
However, my Vala was not able to last the entire fight, even with Koko/Smokey. She didn't die right away, but she did die before the mega swarm actually occurred. She was Supreme+, lvl 210, and her EX Weapon was at +10
I guess in my fight the Reinier +10 weapon buff helps aswell
Same case with me , except my Valla is Weapon +19 and my Reiner is also supreme + with level 15 weapon and my level is 267. The RNG in this game is just a lot and very inconsistent clearly since hes able to do 22M with that team and setup, I copy pasted the setup and can't get past 16M
Yeah, i also got a boost damage againts wolf lord when the wolf hp drop below 50%
Yeah below 50% is when the battle for the top positions really start. Good luck :-)
Have u tried Kruger in place of Koko. He might increase your damage more in long term.
Koko is mainly for Survivability. I usually die rather early when I remove her :-(
Kruger trigger the mega swarm earlier
I got Marilee to M+ and +5 on her EX Weapon. I went from doing 7M dmg to 12M

im doing 10m damage im only level 180-190 using using odi so not being funny or anything your 100 levels above me and all supreme doing 2 x times my damage lol anyone with a brain can do the math here its got nothing to do with vala. my team is full mawler

@@Samsara__ brutus supreme+ , odie supreme+ , smokey, Cecil coco sometimes i switch brut for thron depends but really man it depends on gear also no one mentions that my afk stage is 1000 and I'm level 180 -190. Quite a few of these content creators are chatin bs about things the game is very RNG based. My gear level is 205-220
Its actually quite difficult to do huge damage numbers against world bosses. Even a 10% damage increase is very insane if you go for top 10. Vala is a very great choice for that. Is nice that you do good damage with Odie aswell though. Mauler is a good faction to use for this early on :-)
It would have to do with Vala in this case at the fact she does extra dmg to enemies that are lower than 50% health. It's in her ult.
You truly don’t understand boss mechanics if you’re not trolling with that comment. The more damage you do, the more damage the boss does in return. Being able to output 2x the damage of yours means that his team is withstanding MUCH more powerful attacks from the boss. He is several orders of magnitude stronger when you’ve cleared so many health bars. The boss you’re facing is throwing tiny baby punches compared to the behemoth that whales face.
