- Jamboolio records a classic light blue 1972 Ford Gran Torino Sport Coupe (yep, the same model year like the one featured in the 2008 movie by Clint Eastwood).
The engine in this GT muscle car is a 351 5.8L V8 and the exhaust sounds it makes are pretty awesome, enjoy!

This was my first car, it was cool and it was fast.
Searching "Mr. Guts", this car was specifically prepped for running the Gumball rally and was built to run. And run FAST.
spent two summers in Finland and when I saw American Muscle it always made me happy.

these Torinos were great for building. they have a full frame.
What a superb example of a '72! I would normally hate that color, but with those amazing stripes (colors and placement), it is beautiful. I have been searching for a '72, but unfortunately being this is the only year with this front end, they are very hard to find.

That Exhaust, Almost Sounded Rythmic, at Times :):) One of the under rated Ford Cars...Not sure, if it was ever considered a Muscle Car ?? There are Two, 351 Ford, Small Blocks...A Cleveland and a Windsor !! Nice, Rare Catch, Jamboolio :):)

@@davidgeerling9871 If go back into the history of the two engines, they came out right towards the end of the high performance engines. They are capable of producing high horsepower. Thats when the government stepped in and forced car companies to lower compression ratios, smog devices, etc. The big block engines had high horsepower, but were heavy. 351 engines can produce same and more hp with lower weight.
@@amazingkills Nice...Thanks for the Info...I admit, I forgot about the 302, 428 cj, ( 429 ?, I think it's ford engine ) 4.6 and 390 ( kinda rare ) engines, that I guess one or more of these it could have in it ?? !! I'm thinking, cuz you only mentioned the 2 351's, it's only one and or both that were available :):)

How much horsepowers have this Ford?
Stock, the q code 351c 4v was rated at like 240-260 or something. Open it up with a cam, carb, and a good head/valve/exhaust job and you can make over 450 n/a.
I feel like it ruins the sound though when people build these clevelands

This is a sport fastback not a coupe. I own a fastback. Think of a coupe as the equivalent to a fox body Mustang notchback. Sounds great, nice but lose the silly stripes.

portvga a coupe only means 2 doors. This is a sportsroof coupe. The notchback roof on these cars was copied after the 1970 oldsmobile cutlass supreme's new supreme body style.
