So after using Flower Trick, the ability changed it to a pure grass type, removing the dark typing from it, either until they use a move of a different type (at which point they'll take on the typing of the move), or the battle ends (they return to their natural typing.) I'm not sure if switching affects it or not. /genuine /informative /not mean
