Nice work -Making a journal watching playoff games,
I am just amazed at how you decorate. Make a choice and glue. It takes me an hour to do one page. Maybe longer! I try to be decisive. So far it's not sticking. I know a lot of your work is off camera but still when you are on it's like, "Oh look that's pretty. Let's try it here or here and boom it's down. I'm trying! OCD is never fun. LOL. Anyway it's looking so good so far.

I found the whole process helpful. Learned how to hinge my pages so that any size paper can form into a journal and being able to control the page sizes can be key in making something different. Thank you for sharing. Donna, in So. Calif.

I am having a laugh. My cat is laying here beside me snoring her head off while I watch you. I had to increase the volume.
Mrs. E, would it be easier to put the tape on the page and then put the hinge on instead of putting the tape on the hinge and then adding it to the page?
Not sure but you could give it a go. Let us know which works best.
Instead of hinging the papers wouldn’t it work if you just overlap the pages by a 1/2 inch instead of cutting and glue them together then score in the middle.
Question, what is the mat that you put behind the journal when poking holes into the journal with the awl?
It is just foam, I save any foam I get and I use it under my owl.
What kind of string do you use to sew paper together?
I use our waxed thread, we carry in our store.
Where did you get the butterfly brads?
They came in our January E Club Kit.
