Hey everyone! My dive into Tasha's has finally come to a close for now! I may revisit some of the other player features like feats in the future but as of now I am done with covering this book! You can expect a return to some more character builds and some other videos I want to try out.
If you want to check out all the Tasha's subclasses here is a link to the play list:
    ruclips.net/p/PLNc98T6z8wgULeRrwF3gnPoGCtSb7GybF
Also tonight I will be doing a character build livestream at 8PM PST:

Next up is Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft! Have a good one!

Can the Manifest Mind feature be used in conjunction with Familiars or do they have to choose between them?

This subclass is super fun! If your party ever ventures into a magical school, the scribe wizard reigns supreme. Having easy access to scrolls and spellbooks turns insane when you can copy spells in 2 minutes per level.

Such a cool subclass! I love the idea of reflavoring the Scribe Wizard to become a magical artist~ All great ideas you stated-- in addition, I'd pick up the Artificer Initiate feat for actual casting spells through Painter's Supplies, and pick up the Guidance cantrip for some precognitive-sketching, and Faerie Fire for a burst of colorful advantage =D

3-level warlock dip for Pact of the Tome. mage hand, minor illusion, prestidigitation for your free cantrips so the book can cast them to interact when awakened

I’d use the “Rune Carver” background from “Glory of the Giants”, so my Scribes Wizard is a practitioner of Runecraft, then I’d take the “Cantrip Formulas” feature to experiment with damage effects to create new reactions.

I think this class is good for if a player can't decide on what wizard school to choose so they decided "I'll learn all the spells" and I think it's good and I might make a Gnome or Halfling Wizard like this. The Wizard Presto Fizzywigs

Same. I use to play the Loremaster Wizard for a bit. Glad some of the features made it into the game in a balanced way.

i’d say quill does affect price cause the price mentions it includes fine inks. we don’t have details but since the quill creates ink i think any DM would let you get at least some discount

I have a scribes wizard playing @ the table I DM for. We play in the Wildmount setting. The character & I spoke b4 the campaign began about being a member of the cobalt soul library. So far they seems to b enjoying themselves. The party just leveled to 5th @ the end of tonight's session. I am interested to see where they take the character now that bigger spells just began to pop up

Love the subclass tho I really wish ravnica had more love in dnd. It’s my favorite setting tho the book is sparse with homebrewing stuff for the setting

Played this in a one shot, took chromatic orb and fireball so I could do aoe with different damage types

      @Baes_Theorem 9 месяцев назад +2

Chromatic Orb is 1st level though, and in order to sub out damage you have to use a spell of the same level as the spell slot you expended.

Ah yes... the Wizard with 30+ lifes.
I love this subclass, although I wished they took more inspiration on the Loremaster on it's final features.

Loremaster was good but oh man it was too good. Archivist Artificer was great but unfortunately had to give itself up so our Loremaster could see print

@@DungeoneersPack I know, 2d10 extra damage for that cheap price, changing damage type with no cost...

This class takes Knowledge is power a little TOO seriously.
