Discussion Questions:
1. Paul uses many athletic images to speak of how he followed Jesus. How does this help us evaluate our own walk with Jesus?
2. What are practical ways we can all “share the word” in our world today? How do we keep the urgency to do so when it seems inconvenient.
3. What are some of the ways that Christians today have “itching ears”?
4. Paul mentions both friends and foes in this passage. Why is it important to have Christian community? In what ways can Christian community be hard?
5. Paul fulfilled his purpose. Do you live with a strong sense of purpose from God? Why or why not?
