My sparky installed this exact set and wall controller. They have destroyed my life ! Both batteries are flat in the 2 non hardwired units and you CANNOT remove the backing plate. I took them down, but they scream at me every hour all night. I am going to dump them DO NOT buy Emerald. Event this presenter can't remove backing. Chinese junk that will wreck your life and make your neighbours hate you !

Thank you! I could not for the life of me figure out how to open the main unit. The instructions did not show the button which is so obvious once you know it's there.
