This channel is, I think, the first time I've encountered serious critique of TTRPGs on this level. I'm inspired and my brain is humming. Definitely going to revisit these videos when I start working on TTRPGs of my own. It'll definitely help me be more thoughtful with my word choice!
hey this was a really fun video! the saran wrap was a cool way to show annotations and got me thinking about other ways to achieve the same effect which i might have to try.
@@collabswithoutpermission Possibly! I'm moving soon and with that will come the space and time to actually pursue doing that. Even if I don't, it could be useful for sharing certain stuff with my playgroup - I work better with the tactile experience of having physical books in hand, but distance means all our games are online, and this would let me annotate something live as we talked about it without having to brawl with a pdf or such
Ok! I have officially watched the video! I loved the review, these products both look very fun to run so maybe I'll pick up one or the other! Also I really enjoyed the talk about how you can take any piece of art and turn it into an adventure if you just add words, i feel like that's something I've always known but never really thought deeply about, i just think it's a neat concept. I loved the ceran wrap! Genius way to do highlighting simply. I also loved the discussion of the economy of words in products like this. As someone who hopes to eventually make some short form ttrpg content, it's very good advice! I'm honestly probably gonna rewatch those parts of the video again later. Finally, i am a tiny bit sad we didnt get your official Roku Screensaver ttrpg supplement, but i guess all the good stuff in the rest of the video makes up for it. :p
This is a real good review. I will defend the exploding whale thing on account of my love of rot gas whale explosions, other than that perfect video no notes!

Haha, thank you for the kind words and for checking out the backlog, Tomfoolery. ^^ It's what I'm aiming to do!
Dang Vi, you consistently make hands down the best ttrpg content online. Is there anyone else like you??? I'm always wanting more
You give me life, Chochkeys 🙏
Probably the most in-depth analysis I've seen on any TTRPG. Really cool.
Damn, big compliment from someone as talented as you. ❤
Love the completely manic energy from this vid.
I always wondered if anyone else looked over that roku screensaver. I got excited the other day when I noticed my wife's roku had a different screen.

Oh heck yeah! You gonna make some videos? 😻

Roku Screensaver Game Jam When? #ttrpg
I immediately thought of the adventure from Dissident Whispers when the video started and Vi, you're 1,000% correct here
THE RETURN
(I will leave a proper comment later once I finish the video)
YESSSSSSSS
Excited to hear your thoughts 💃
The building scale silk dancer thing really got me
great as always, this is the in-depth stuff i love to see and totally agree that there needs to be more analysis with trpgs

This was great! I would love to see examples of myths tables done well by your metrics

Hell yeah, I'll take a 9/10 for a good cause 😹
Time to go watch some whale detonations 🏃
