Bro... Wny in tf is he so scared to tell his wife that his ex works with him?.. thats like one of the most minut mundane so called "secrets" you could ever keep from your wife. Yet she and he are acting as if its some kind of life threatening damning evidence that she can hold over his head as leverage Like that makes literally no sense at all . Yea sure she'll be upset about it.. but worst case scenario shell ask him to just work somewhere else.. or best case scenario make sure he and her keep their interactions limited at work and demand he stay honest with her about how they interact at work in the future. Like HAVING HER MAKE A S/A CLAIM AT MY JOB.... Definitely outweights the threat of her telling my current wife that we used to date...i dont get why he would cowar out of making sure she tells the truth.. at his job over such an insignificant thing
Right! The male lead was so infuriating. Smh! If only he had made a choice about who he wanted to be with instead of stringing along two women in his life at once.
@@Itsshowtimerecaps was he really stringing the ex along tho? I mean he was doing everything he was supposed to as far as how you'd treat an ex if you're in a current relationship....and it's for that reason alone I didn't understand how the ex had this so called "looming" leverage over him... I mean what was she gonna tell his wife? That they work together still?... I mean .. yes.. that could get him in the doghouse for about a week ...that's it. But both her and him act as if she has him committing a deletion on video and she's gonna turn it in to the PD. My original point is it's crazy for him to be so scared that his wife is gonna find out him and his ex work together is NOT EVEN CLOSE TO SIGNIFICANT ENOUGH to keep him under her control.. idk me personally I'd of dared her to tell my wife And to also include that I turn down all of her advances cuz I'm loyal to my wife ...which he is in the movie. So because of that it doesn't make ALOTTA sense. If he was actually cheating this plot would've sufficed and been Lot more effective. But since he is loyal and monogamous I just don't understand how she has any kinda leverage over him. 🤷🏻♂️
He cheated on his wife with his ex tho. While she was trying to reach him after losing their baby, he was with his ex. She also remembered him coming home smelling of jasmine after their engagement party. She connected these dots when his ex came to their housewarming party, bringing jasmine flowers, indicating it was her favorite. Despite suspecting the affair, she remained silent about the entire situation. And I haven't included this in my recap: at the parking lot, he actually expressed that he had never met anyone like Alyssa and that he wouldn't leave his wife for her. So, all of this sums up to me that he would have continued cheating on her if Alyssa hadn't finally taken a stand.
Omg what a SHlT premis... Im guessing FISHBURNE got a quick fat payday for his incredibly small guest appearance.. and that is the ONLY REASON he agreed to be in this dud. I mean ... in theory the premise is a little interesting. Even the ending ...but what happens in between all of THAT is SHlT. lol... I mean the script... The plot... Etc. whoever wrote this movie desecrated what could've probably been a decent movie.. they even could've kept the same premise with keeping everyone unclear on still not knowing whether or not the cellar is in fact some sort of harbinger of bad luck and/or bad juju.... Or whatever..and still made it interesting..but NOPE. just a confusing underwhelming chain of predictable events... which lead to AN ENDING. ...annnnnnnnd CUT. 🎬 Smh.... What a tragedy
Yeah, it felt like something was missing. Although the movie was labelled as thriller, it definitely wasn't. It was pure drama IMO. And you surmised my thoughts perfectly!

When evem the writer doesn't know what is in the cellar
What's in the cellar ...? The script for the sequel. lol
Haha, possibly.

Ya I think something like that too, there was nothing in the cellar
Yeah, I was anticipating they'll show us what's inside the cellar till the very end. But they left it for viewer's interpretation ig.

So many loopholes and impossible that he not care about the pregnancy at all!
Ikr, he was more interested in the cellar and he could have come clean about the whole shenanigans with his ex, but he didn't Smh.
