Am I the only one who got goosebumps when the temple guard held off the inquisitors. Even in death they held thier oath to protect the Jedi order
True loyalty 💯, at its finest 👌 💯 👏
Co tu się odwaliło?! Wielki Inkwizytor, który zabił tyłu Jedi pomaga swojemu oprawcy uciec przed własnymi sprzymierzeńcami
Only in death does duty end
Wait, is that how they died?
@@2ewqdqw3dwqd
No.
We don't know how they died.
The ones that attacked the Inquisitors were their ghosts.
The jedi Temple guards need more love
Shadow Hunter I personally prefer the Senate guards, but you're right.
Agreed. I mean, they did help Anakin capture Barriss and save Ahsoka from a possible execution after all.
Laura M don't forget, they also put up a good fight against the clones in Order 66 to help the younglings and other Jedi exscape from the temple
That's true. It's a shame we couldn't see them fighting the clones in Revenge of the Sith.
Laura M maybe someone could find it in their hearts to animate it?
I imagine the few remaining temple guard organise a last stand against the clones to allow some surviving padawan to escape
Imagine if the temple guards survived and ended up forming a shadow Jedi army only to return as the birth of the second Jedi orders forming, swearing allegiances to it, and establishing a new army of the new grand republic with a full Jedi Corp, make the new enemy’s the second order of the deathwatch
Yes.
I'm honestly shocked that fans can make a better star wars sequal then the current team of directors
Fan fic wrighters to your keyboards!
I honestly prefer the look of the clone wars temple guards to the rebel’s ones. The hooded helmet and leg skirts really give a mysterious yet intimidating protector of the light look that the rebels ones are missing sadly missing.
I just wish they had had some combat scenes in Clone Wars...
i wish the jedi had this look and the guards retain their old look
I think in the rebels it’s just their training gear
It's actually fitting that they're missing that, considering that not protectors of the light during rebels, they're just survivors of the darkness like every other jedi in that time.
@@supersaiyandiclonius3056 true
im so obsessed with the lore bout these guys, i really hope with disney we learn more about them!
2:18 that was perfect
I hope in any future Star Wars Programs the Temple Guards get shown a lot of love
The Templs gaurds need more appreciation. In CWS7 we need a Temple gaurd character that should be present in an at least 3 episode arc. WHO AGREES!?
that would kind of defeat the point of the mask if they are given an identity though
@@turkeyfeat216 Same could be said for the clones but it didn't lessen them in any way.
Well plo koon and thevgrand inqusisitor were both temple guards
@@timtaylor9298 the temple guards masks were specifically meant to keep them from having an outward identity, the clones was to protect them and for efficiency
@@maddhattergaming6863 Seeing the (future) grand inquisitor would be a nice reverse link from rebels to clone wars
*Jedi Order around the Clone Wars: "exist"
*Darth Malgus 4000 years before: "B.tch please"
I like how they're just standing there and watching Anakin fight Barris like its an anime or something lol. I do like the jedi temple guard design. They look *A W E S O M E*
In all reality they were there to defend the Younglings. If either Jedi were to endanger the younglings the guards would have stepped in. So yeah they were basically just watching a 1v1 and waiting till someone endangered a Youngling. 💀
The true Jedis Knights.
The Jedi Temple Guards of SW: Clone Wars are my favorites.
Only true starwars fans will remember the Temple Guards.
Flat false.

Star Wars and Sabaton?!?
Joy level: over 9000.
I hope I'll upload a new one soon ;)
I really wish we saw more of these guys, especially in the clone wars or something
Marvel: Infinity War is the most ambitious crossover
Hamster: hold my beer
Underrated comment. Totally agree!
Two of my favorit things Star Wars and Sabaton whats not ti love 10 out of 10
Thank you! Glad you like it ;)))
As a swiss and star wars fan and sabaton fan: WOW, GREAT.
It's unbelievable that the temple guards lost a fight against the clones
Anakin was there too...
I mean, pretty mutch all clines were lost after order 66, with the element of surprise and superior numbers. They did good
Well in ROTS the temple guards never existed, they were a clone wars creation so they never planned for a temple security force to counter a temple march. And there is a theory that the Grand inquisitor assassinated them. But there is always a high chance they were there but getting out numbered by clones and getting attacked by the duelist that is Anakin. If they were still alive the guards were likely holding specific locations that were highly important.
This video needed to exist and now it does, my life is complete
Up until this point, I thought the Jedi were just weaklings. But to see the Temple Guard in action, I think I now like the Jedi.
Temple Guards are cool i saw them as Jedi Sentinels that hunt Dark Side users but where now confided to temple guard duties after the Jedi saw Sith was gone and the enemy no more.
I also made my Jedi Knight in Star Wars TOR to look like a Temple Guard although voice is not as good then the awesome Sith Warrior and Sith Inquisitor.
If Anakin's invasion of the Jedi Temple takes place in the Kenobi series, we may see the Grand Inquisitor entering Vader's command
I love how well the song goes with each scene
This actually fits really well
Ahh, my favorite kind of Jedi besides the Jedi Sentinels.
They were a branch of the Sentinels...
Bit of a late reply but lorewise all temple guards were sentinels, during the clone wars due to the jedi not really being able to effectively hunt down the sith utilizing sentinels as they should, most sentinels (already being a minority compared to guardians and consulars) were on temple guard duties, so its safe to say all temple guards were sentinels just a branch of them.
This is fitting for Star Wars bc if you think about it the Jedi made their last stand during order 66
Dude, this video is amazing. I normally don't like this kind of music but you really nailed it. Great work!
Thank you, my friend! :)))
In Clone Wars, The Temple Guards had more of a Military/Police appearance and attitude than guardians of peace. Which is kind of hilarious considering Jedis don't practice militarism. The role of militarism is played by the Human Clone Troopers.
On the other hand, in Rebels, the Temple Guards do have the appearance and attitude of a guardian of peace, which is expected of a Jedi.
In short, the Temple Guards of Clones Wars are the closest thing to a military/police version of the Jedi.
Who watching this in 2024
They should seriously make some arc of the Jedi guards, maybe one of them being of the grand inquisitor before turning to the dark side.
They did
He was in the episode where Barris got arrested, he was one of the 4 who came to assist anakin.
As far as I can see, only one Jedi Temple Guard moved around with the left arm behind his back in Barris' final episode.
Coincidence? I think not.!!!
Erik Thomsen Yeah the directors said that was him.
for the grace, for the might, of the *Force.*
For the home of the Jedi
For the faith for the weight of the ‘saber
They should make a TV show about the Jedi Temple Guard
Fun fact the temple guards where killed by the grand inquisitor before order 66 if they where still alive during order 66 the attack on the temple probably failed
One of them was the Grand Inquizytor
That theory was never confirmed though. He said it but that was just his own idea of it. But there is a high chance a majority of them were inside at important locations or getting killed by the Elite Clones that were the 501st and the duelist that is Anakin.
the best !!!!!!!!!!
That's awesome!
A good song 4 the jedi way good job
The temple guards are and will always be my favorite character in SW I wish they made a movie of only of them and their brothers that of how they trained mostly everything they did before the order happened (and anyone else knows what happened to them after the order or did they all get executed??? I MUST KNOW)
Mostly they get killed in THe fighting with Vader and the Clones. But few if them got away and were hunted by the Inquisitors which tried to kill or manipulad them for the dark side. (Sry I am German, so the f*cking auto korrektion destroyed everthing I have written)
i like to believe that since they were all completely anonymous that some escaped order 66
Actually, its cannon that very few of the guards we strictly guardsmen. The few that weren't simply other Jedi serving as a guard were sentinels. But Sentinals WEREN'T ALWAYS TEMPLE GUARDS. Also, the main temple on corosaunt(I suck at spelling) wasn't the only temple.
They from what I know just stood guard in locations in the temple and during the order they were not really there in the movie but I personally believe that they did fight in the temple, maybe not much in the front lines at times but in important locations. Also including the fact they were getting cut down by clones and Anakin. Nothing against the guards but we also gotta understand the 501st were VERY good and Anakin was an expert duelist. So even if the guard was there they couldn't do much.
What's weird is that the Jedi Council didn't even know all of their Temple Guards except for the Commander sat dead in some room.
Wait what are you saying?? I don't understand this. :'))
Some changes nto the text and this video would be even more awesome!
Like:
"In the name of Light!" Instead of "In the name of god" for example.
"For the grace for the might of the Force"
"For the home of the Jedi"
Now this fits! The Jedi kinda does reminds me of Christians.
...especially with part about suppressing feelings. 😅
3:04 FUCK THAT WAS EPIC
The virgin: stop or we’ll shoot
The chad: cease hostilities
bloody lovely.

YEEEEEES
Una canción orientada a la Guardia suiza. Muy acorde a estas imágenes de jedi, clones y guardias del templo jedi
Los guardianes del templo jedi son mis favoritos
I was a temple guard in one of my classes i had a twin bladed yellow
What about the Shiroyama piece with clips of Order 66 being enacted on the Jedi Order? It makes sense, an Ancient Way of Life (warriors with swords) being taken down by more modern ways (soldiers with guns).
Thanks for the idea! Will figure something ;)
Awesome🎉🎉
I love this song it so cool 😎
nice choice

Just epic
Long live the temple Jedi
Compare the Jedi’s as Templars and Siths as heretics or other religions
The gray Jedi and the temple guard were my favorites
I don't know why but I actually like the design of lightsabers in rebels than other star wars shows/movies
3:49 that would make an awesome wallpaper

The song was abput the Swiss papal guards last stand on the 6th of May 1527 in Rome Italy and the Vatican city

No footage of them going down fighting the clones as the temple fell?
They have the best clothes in all of star wars hands down
RIP Clone Wars
Summing up how backwards memvers of the star wars fan base are: reys red lightsaber its so stupid the way it folds out into a double bladed lightsaber. Rebels inquisiter scene with the same design:dam that lightsaber is cool af.
It was in rebels second, you can already See in the clone wars that there were something to fold it.
And sith rey was a projection of sidious who was afrait of that guards so it makes no sense in the story.
Am I the only one who's now expecting "Hill 3234" to immediately start?
Wonder if anyone can beat Anakin when he's angry?
Terminal Love obi wan

Yoda (he is damn powerful), Mace use the hate of his opponent to boost himself, Rey (I hate her : she can everything), Palpatune (his forceabilities are sick and look his fight against Maul), The father and every character from the old repuplic
I think the Clone Wars version of the Temple Guards look cooler.
Well they arguably more mysterious. Hooded nights in Jedi cloaks.
Rebels on the other hand uses a far more physically flexible character designs.
Considering that most Jedi were forced by combat to adopt more flexible and better protected clothing. This lightend Guard design makes a little more sense.
No more cloaks or ceremonial key belts. These are the guardians of the Jedi. And the attackers of the Sith.
@@erikthomsen4768 Fair points.
in 3:05 from which episodes is this part of the video ?
it's STAR WARS™: The Old Republic™ - 'Deceived' Cinematic Trailer =)
just change lord to force and yer set!
This could actually make sense for the song. The song was about the Sack of Rome after all.
The jedi temple guards are the swis guards of star wars.
I need an EU4 Mod with Jedi, Grey Jedi, Sith and other paths as the religions and Sabaton as the background music
Sorry Jedi.
Us Grays don't worry about Sith or Jedi affairs 😑
"The force existed a thousand years before the jedi and sith divided it"

I play fencing and the guards are like fencers
Can you make temple guard vs clones
🤟🏼
Didn’t most of the Temple Guards follow the Grand Inquisitor and join the Empire?
Nah most fought during order 66 and made it really tough for the 501st and vader had to kill most of them personally
@@clonetf141 YAY
Only a few of them joined but most of them died protecting the temple
Rather creepy that the Jedi temple guards have uniforms that seem to reference the Eternal Empire. Is Vitiate somehow still influencing things?
I don't know much about the game but maybe they were formed by an ex member of his guards like Senya Tirall? It would explain the Yellow Lightsabers and white robes.
Where the scene where the two inquisitors are surrounded by temple guards from?
A dream in an episode of rebels?
It's Rebels S2E18
Time to Replace the Snakes
Snakes?
I wonder how many temple guards anakin killed?
One was killed just before he entered un the temple
Whoever wasn't killed by the Grand Inquisitor.

Honestly it would have been awesome to actually see the temple guards die defendingthe temple in movie 3, there are theories but it annoys me that they simply didn't fight, even if the grand inquisitor betrayed and killed them I can't imagine he killed all of them.
It would have honestly been better if it was a parody
The song ended way too earlu

CESE HOSTILITY
I mean this is cool and all but I cant think of one time they've stopped a major attack. They failed at the sacking of coruscant and anakin's march on the temple.
The Vatican's Swiss Guard is a small group that has done an outstanding job in defending Vatican city
Seigon Amenhotep It has fallen while they were protecting it, hell this song is about the city falling while they try to get the pope out
@@Barrett49cal their record is still better than the Temple Guards, I'm actually a big fan of Temple Guards
The temple guard had the best clone legion to deal with and of course darth vader not to mention that the 501st has outsmarted the jedi in 2 previous encounters and even then they killed clomes by the dozens easily
