Promising intro for the horse ,thought he won easier than the commentator suggested , would already be a valuable stallion hopefully well see more of him jumping thank you Carole Bamford for sending him jumping
Decent enough performance fto. Not sure he's the triumph winner but obviously masses of improvement to come. On the whole thought he jumped ok. The 2nd probably a decent horse too
Early days for this one. Clearly, from his jumping, he is a future chaser. Henderson is renowned for his patience with new animals. This one will improve and within 12 months will be novice chasing. This outing is just a fishing expedition, to gain course experience. The further and higher he goes, expect significant improvement.
@@lukemichael7772 will it though? He’s only been 5th in a French Derby. Hardly great form. He’ll need to do more on the flat if he wants to command any sort of fee.
@@Monty-xs7hp will need an Ebor or one of those valuable international races to make a dent. Unusual for an entire to be running over hurdles, guess they are keeping options open.
I doubt that they will geld him being they paid over a million Euros and are unlikely to get that back in prize money, so will race him under both codes and try to get a Grade 1 win over Jumps to go with his Group 1 win on the Flat and then stand him as a dual purpose stallion somewhere.
Hard to work out, did the job but needs to improve plenty , especially under a penalty that might peg him back if he runs in another standard juvenile hurdle unless they go straight to the Adonis at Kempton next time out
Nice animal, and an entire, let’s hope he’ll go on to be a dual-purpose stallion. As for the post race interview, as, unfortunately, so often, the longer it went on the more the reporter asked the same, marginally rearranged, questions, and the more a trainer followed suit. Reporters have got to be more intelligent in those, hardly unnatural, circumstances.
I thought he was going on the flat as i think hes an entire they want to breed with. Be nice to be a dual purpose theyd probably be happy with that at first attempt. Nicky said he was bought to have a bit of fun with
Worth an anti post punt for triumph hurdle at Cheltenham slightly lesser odds in william hills but they're going non runner money back so your not doing yer dough in
THIS SORT OF MONEY FOR A JUMP HORSE MAKES NO SENSE . JONBON HAS WON 17 OR 18 RACES , 9 GRADE ONES AND HE HAS NOT YET WON 1 MILLION POUNDS IN WIN PRIZE. MONEY . RISKING MONEY OF THAT MAGNITUDE FOR SUCH A HORSE IS VERY RISKY BUSINESS.

Satisfactory debut....the first 2 pulled well clear and don't underestimate the 2nd, i can see the form of these 2 working out nicely.
When Nico gave him a tap after the last he flew to the line. Another promising sort for Nicky
@mrdangiles90 thought so too. Nice type, very fluent and straightforward.
Never in doubt. This horse will improve a ton from this performance. Lovely engine.
Agreed! entitled to improve from one outing over hurdles. He's in the right hands
He’s double the price now for the triumph
Decent enough performance fto. Not sure he's the triumph winner but obviously masses of improvement to come. On the whole thought he jumped ok.
The 2nd probably a decent horse too
The horse needs time to mature especially if he is kept as a horse!
@@Monty-xs7hpdon’t see much challenging him
He improve a lot for this and with good ground could be anything
Ben Pauling's horse ran we'll, As for the winner , who knows its a NH novice and we will know alot more in a years time.
A nice jumper..clean.. efficient
2nd did well also. Nice debut
agree, the dam is a full sister to cheltenian so has the breeding to be decent, backed it without the fav.
Yes it ran well

Thats 4k back already, 3 Champion hurdles and 2 Christmas hurdles should see connections break even!
They might have a half decent chance of getting their money back with this horse but it will be done at stud not on the racetrack.
They’re running him on the flat predominantly.
@@frankelforever14 He’s gonna go back on the flat and go to stud. Still a lot of money to pay though for an average horse

Bit of criticism it seems but the runner up could be good. Half brother to Redemption Day.
I wonder if they will run as a horse like Monksfield?
I doubt that they will geld him being they paid over a million Euros and are unlikely to get that back in prize money, so will race him under both codes and try to get a Grade 1 win over Jumps to go with his Group 1 win on the Flat and then stand him as a dual purpose stallion somewhere.
They ain't gelding any horse they paid 1.4 million for
I agree, I don't see the owner of this horse gelding him, As they would lose out on stud fees.
a nice little string developing.

When he has another run and wins by 10L hell be 4/1
Interesting to see an entire over jumps. Did ok but will improve a fair bit i think.

shame they think of going boring flat racing😕
I'm not sure the horse is worth that much .
In terms of potential stud fees he could be …..
That’s what put me off buying him tbh!🤥
1.4m to run over jumps. Ridiculous
He goes flat racing obviously already won a group 1 in germany 🙄
If so I imagine he will be kept as a horse!
Seen better
Don't think he enjoyed it. Owner sponsors the Triumph, so they might run him in that, but I wouldn't bother. He's got absolutely no chance 👎
Might of been because there was much pace on against better grade I think he’ll be okay current view
Jumped and galloped like he was enjoying it more than he wasn't
Did you watch the same race as me? A couple of rookie, green horse mistakes but plenty there for the future.
He seemed to enjoy it but can’t see him winning the Triumph.
Workman like, nothing special
OK Martin 😅
If it was trained by Willie we’d be hearing that wow just wow b**locks

😂😂😂
Oh Purleeese..If he was trained by Mullins you'd be having wet dreams Martin. He's in good hands with Nicky and will improve for the race.
He's a derby winner hello lol

It hasn't been gelded pal
Its going flat racing.
