Wow. You've finished so many. My goal is one a month as I paint slowly & only single place. This year I have finished 14 paintings so really pleased with that.
I started diamond painting for the first time at the beginning of this year and Margaret Morales has become my very favorite artist. Ajisai was my first DAC purchase and I’m saving her to do as my most special project ever. I cannot wait to do that one. ❤
My goal is to finish my 12"x16" stash. I plan to learn to multiplace in order to do more dp's. I currently single place & don't do but a few a year. Doing other crafts cuts down on the number done as well. I use a regular spiral composition book to write my stuff in. I keep track of my reviews on another pad so I don't miss any reward points at Diamond Art Club. All (except my 1st snack-sized one) DAC that I buy from Amazon gets registered, too. However many I do a year, I'm having fun 😁
You have some gorgeous paintings to do for 2025! It never hurts to have a stack and you just get to what you get to. You have such awesome kits to choose from. I have not been able to get my hands on a Margaret Morales yet. I hope I can get one soon! I decide what events to participate in then choose my canvases. Because all of mine are so huge I typically don't have time for above and beyond, but always do a little stack of extras just in case.🤭 I try to maintain the mindset of it being about the joy of doing the painting and the process, so I don't sweat the numbers per year as much.
That’s a great philosophy. I just have to watch my “extras” that’s where I get into trouble! I extra myself into setting aside way too many because I love so many of them!😂💕
Thank you for this video. It makes me not feel so bad. I did five extra canvases this year that I wouldn’t have done as I have already had things planned out however I had a great time doing them and those others can just wait until next year. As you said life happens and my life turned around for six months. I had an entirely different job opportunity that I chose to take which totally impacted my diamond painting time L O L we all have goals that we set and it’s just trying to reach the finish line. Let’s finish out 2024 amazingly thank you again for all your videos.
👍👍 Planning ahead is a must for me. I only have 21 kits in my stash at the moment. Hoping to pick up a few more on Black Friday. 😉 Something that has not been discussed a lot but is certainly on my mind is the possibility of tariffs and the effect it may have on the cost of diamond paintings. 🤔🤔🤔
@@pattiy8240 Black Friday…I’ve been saving up!! So excited! Yes, the potential tariffs are a possible concern but there isn’t enough info right now so we will have to wait and see.
@@TheLauren1113 I’d love to hear your thoughts on your plans! I love getting ideas from people and hearing all of the creative things they come up with!

I am new started this past April. You have 2 I wanted Ghost Cafe and the pne frpm Randall Spangler. I cannot imagine doing as many as you have in a year.😊
My goals when I started diamond painting in February was 10 projects. Once I completed the first 10 then I wanted to reach 20 and I accomplished that. I wanted to complete 24 in honor of the year 2024 and I did it. Now everything else is a bonus for me. I'm seeing the previews for black Friday and I want 2 already and it's only Sunday. I'm really worried now. Lol. I was thinking of hosting an event but i wanted it to be different. I was thinking an event focusing on mini kits. Im concerned about how do you host an event and secure sponsors.
Great question! I always partner with someone on the events I host but you don’t have to. It’s just good to have a bit of help should you need it. As for sponsors, focus on relationships. Are there companies you purchase from regularly or often? Do you know and shop owners? If not, then contact them through their websites and let them know what you are doing. There are many amazing shops out there that do so much for all of us! My biggest piece of advice is start EARLY. Earlier for your first event in order to get the word out in the community, organize your event and secure sponsors. 💕
@@theprincipalpainter I unfortunately don't have diamond painting friends. It would be fun to host an event with someone who has hosted an event before. Also my following tiny so I probably couldn't reach the big community of diamond painters.
I’m working on #27 for this year now. I should be able to finish it and do at least one more snack size. I’m seriously considering knocking out all the Christmas kits in my stash next year. 🤷🏻♀️
Great question! I do a variety of things. If it goes with my decor and looks good in a room in my house, I frame it and hang it. I give some as gifts and most go in a portfolio.
