Sodium Benzoate won't do NADA. Except the ph of the soap is like that of hand washing liquid soap which will be less than 7. If this soap is multipurpose the ph is likely in the range of 8 upwards.
Germall Plus is then your best bet.
Sodium Benzoate won't work in an alkaline medium
