The scooter itself has been on the road with me for roughly 15 years and has a ton of miles on it and 2 fairly serious crashes and it's still going. I've been through a lot of engines though. The TPR setup hasn't been a long lasting engine combo for me. This is actually my 2nd cylinder kit and crank. First kit lasted a bit less than 2000 miles. This one has around 700 on it. It was quite reliable when I had a different exhaust that only spun up to 10-11,000RPM. Now at 14,000RPM it likes to break things more often.
It's already been in the news that they're stepping everything up for the weekend that they expect H2Oi to return. I didn't go last year and I really doubt that I'll be there this year. I'm all for a bit of fun, but riots and taking over the streets are not what I go to car shows for.
please help. i’m going to put a 47mm big bore kit in soon and can i just use the stock cylinder head? and also would i use a 150cc carb when i’m done or do i use the stock carb but up jet it? and my elevation is 1000ft so what jet size should i use?
If this is a 139QMB, it should be fine with a 47mm bore and stock carb or 18-20mm carb that is adjustable (adjustable needle, not sealed). Upjet and change needle position as needed. I don't tell anyone what jet size to use, because jet recommendations have never worked perfectly for me. They are nothing more than a ballpark IMO and so many things can throw them off. I prefer to start larger than I think it needs and then reduce jet size as I do test runs and use that info to tell me which jet I should use. Get a whole kit of main jets and start something like 10-15 larger than where it was. So if you had an 80 main jet in there and nothing other than the big bore kit changed, then go to 90-95 to start. It may be too large, but it's easy to move down a step at a time till you see what works.
@@49ccscoot thank you for the help for the needle is it best in the middle and when i’m done installing the bore kit do i need that octopus looking thing that vacuum line that goes to my seal case by the valve
@@cedrichenricksen7334 The 50mm and over bores are notorious for causing crankshaft big end bearing failures. There's more risk with any big bore than stock, but 47mm is generally not as hard on the bottom end as the larger bores. The best position for the needle is whatever works best for your setup. There's not 1 right position. You should be able to use the rest of the vacuum hoses and connections just like before, unless the head configuration changes. The hoses are probably PAIR. I have a video about that, but I can't advise anyone to remove emissions equipment unless it's a race only vehicle.
It varies from state to state. Here, we aren't really supposed to have more than 3HP IIRC, but I've attempted to register as a motorcycle and they won't do that.

They're LED. I think he said it's only 2.7 watts. He's commented on the vid so you can ask him directly or he's on the forum.
So howmany kilometers that yellow wheels bike holds together? Long or short.
@@49ccscoot ok, thanks for info🙂
Ocean City without the Police shutting everything down...hahahaha. No H2Oi to see here hahahaha
@@49ccscoot i’m just kinda scared about this because my last big bore kit 50mm blew up my whole engine and had to get an engine rebuild
@@49ccscoot how long would a 47mm bore last? is it worth it to do?
Nice 😊👍
is scooter tuning legal in the usa?
It varies from state to state. Here, we aren't really supposed to have more than 3HP IIRC, but I've attempted to register as a motorcycle and they won't do that.
@@49ccscoot oh okay but do the police do anything about it like they do here in europe
@@noname-he8zn I don't wanna jinx myself, but I haven't had much trouble. I think because there aren't many scoots in most areas.
@@49ccscoot oh okay
2t for life!!!
Don’t worry. If you get arrested, we’ll get you out. Even if it takes 10 years.
Dellorto for the win
great video as all ways and i do love the rc-one engines tho i feel they are over priced for what you are getting my self i would take the tpr over the rc-one anyway as seems more useable on pull off then the rc-one just seems like its on or off switch
I think the RC-ONE could be more useable. To be fair, Ryan hasn't had it running for long at all so he's not used to trying to take off. I've never rode his scooter before and the front suspension rises more than mine to give the illusion that you're in the air when you're not. My setup seems to be about right for regular launches. If it would just launch like it does, then pull like the RC-ONE...!!
@@49ccscoot yep know he has not had the setup long i know from riding a friends rc one aerox it pulls like a rocket as im just over 220 pound and was keep lifting up with me riding it tho after seeing my friends one needing a new piston every 300-400 miles has put me right off but then again maybe how he rides it and the setup
@@mrchilled85 One of my subscribers says he never has to touch his RC1. I don't see how. I know it's designed to handle this stuff, but it's still a 14,000RPM 2T with a lot of power for a small displacement.
@@49ccscoot don't see how they can handle that power for long with out needing rebuilds as look at any hyper race kit they are not made to last

Just opened post,new cdi.Comes with chinese pc-program.With curves on computer-screen.And you can draw them,upload to cdi.Around 70$ on aliexpress+shipping.No way,probably,to make it work.A dozen cdi,1 who work,and it has been changed,later version from factory.Later dont work.And ALL cdi`s are bluff.You MUST use a mc-cdi 57.bore.Biggest difference.Thailand videos,use a insulated wire around coil spark-plug wire,connected to battery ground.Not in other end.Wrap whole length,tape it,Connect to -.And maximal much better spark.
