The problem is Kuzma thinks he's a second option on the team but he's not. Lakers need players who understands their role. That's not Kuzma. Keep it simple Lakers we need players who can bring different skill sets. A defensive minded center to play along AD and wing who can shoot and play respectable defense . Murray and Capela?

I think Lakers need to focus first to resolve they guard problem. No matter how much Dlo and austin try to play defense, they are not physically gifted. You see what type of players rise they level of game come playoff time. Long and athletic.

Jerami Grant would make a HUGE difference. He’d blend what Rui brings to the table with his scoring and what Vando brings to the table with his versatile defense. He’d be a great guy to stick on MPJ being 6’9” and athletic and would help with rebounding

I hated the WB trade but The cancelled Hield trade in 2021 really gets swept under the rug.

To trade a versatile 2 way 6’10” wing and Harrell for Hield who provides nothing if he’s not hitting shots would’ve aged like milk. Especially when you consider that Hield this summer may be a vet minimum level player

Lakers should just focus on getting another big and maybe a point guard. I think Lakers have a nice team already but we never got a chance to see their full potential because of injuries this season. They never had a chance to gel together.

Jeramy grant has not done nothing in the league. We don’t know how he plays under pressure. We’ve seen Kuz do it…Kuz is a Laker type player….
Wasn't Grant on that Denver Team in 2020? If Not for the Lakers he probably has a ring as a big contributor. We have seen Grant in the playoffs and under pressure and he was good.
@@AsItStandsLakers True, he was on that team. He averaged 12pts, 3.5rebs, 1.2ass. Nothing to right home about nor dismiss. He is a strong role player but you have to factor in the Laker pressure. We know how guys fold under pressure and forget how to play basketball once they dawn the Lakers jersey. We know for a fact Kuzma thrives in high leverage moments especially as a third 4th option...I say if we can bring in Murray, Kuzma, and Drummond then we have something to work with but hey I appreciate your take as well as I'd take Jeramy Grant as well, just not sure how he handles pressure...
