At the end of every day I choose 3 accomplishments and give myself shoulder tap, I am grateful for my inner strength and accept little inconveniences as a part of life, with ups and downs. On this day, I wish more awareness about DID (and other mental issues) and less stigma.
1. My husband always makes me smile. 2. I’ve passed all my Counseling Courses this term with great marks! 3. I’m grateful to live in Canada 🇨🇦 4. I’m a strong 💪, amazing, caring person 5. My hope is to continue to grow emotionally stronger everyday
Three years ago a couple of my friends and myself started a gratitude practice in preparation for a holiday self care retreat we were hosting … we thought we’d do it for the month prior to our retreat .. but 3 years we are still doing it .. each night we send a quick email to each other with 3 things we were grateful for that day … it does really make a difference ✨💜💫
My top three: Daily gratitude, daily affirmations, telling someone I love them/extending kindness to someone. Some of the best natural medicines are: sunshine, fresh air, exercise, hydration, rest, nutrition, and laughter.
Thank you so much for your videos. Every time I see you've uploaded a new video I pop on and watch. You have a very calming way about you and the way you describe things helps wonderfully. Thank you again and hope you have a wonderful day too!
It has been fine, thank you - one of the cats needed to go to the vet for a post-op check and is fine. I certainly feel grateful for that! May your days be happy too.
@@MARCIA.ZZZZZZ Right! My husbands actually from England I tend to find all the English people so much more open minded then people around me personally.
@@thectadclinic I'm glad your cat is ok! I used to do work in animal rescue and found whenever one of my cats had surgery or were sick I worried over them. =) Wishing you, the cats, and the ducks the best!
This is very lovely, thank you. Struggling to find a compliment for myself other than I got through another tough Monday, but my daughter made me smile so much, she makes me beam with love ❤️
I'm falling apart. No pun intended. And there's nobody here to help. They r all so uneducated and not like Mike. I wish I could go home and I don't even know what I mean by that. I want to feel safe.
1. What made me smile today? 2. What have I achieved today? 3. What am I grateful for today/in our life? 4. What is a compliment I can give myself? 5. What are my hopes for the day?`
Can you make a video about polyfragmented DID? I love your videos about DID/OSDD and I feel like there is a lack of info on polyfragmented DID from professionals.
My hope for the day is somewhere out there someone is not a c**t. As it is midnightnight in New Zeanand , this hope is becoming true. the new day will dawn a new ....My best friend Dra already asked me this question and I answered the same way...Have a adventures day....
Hi Dr Mike. I'm part of a system and I'm the host. I'm having a HUGE amount of trouble going into the inner world. We have an alter in trouble there. They are suffering immeasurably and keep reaching out but I can't go in there. Can you please help me? Something is seriously wrong. We have tried meditation and self hypnosis but the only thing we've managed is to create a very blury place that is nothing but imagination. We have an inner world, I know that, but I've never been and I'm the only one who can help this alter. This is actually a very common problem in systems - for the host to be unable to reach the inner world. It would be helpful for many, many people with DID out there.

I appreciate this post. I think I'll try patting myself on the back too.
We should all be doing this!

On October 13th. 1981 my mum killed herself, she'd had enough apparently
very sorry to hear this, Peter. I hope the 13th this year is ok for you.
Don't take it personally against yourself. It probably all started before you were born.
