I would say it's a close call between him and Pique but I take Pique any day of the week and twice on sunday to start on the bench. Did you see his shit tackle that resulted in the free pick?? Not to mention he started panicking along with the rest of the team after taking the lead. And in the last 10 mins that idiot Pique once again started running up playing the no. 9 role. With a real coach at Barca he would be benched or released he's lucky it is Setien.

@@P4P1980 The senior players at Barca run things not the coach. Look at Setien's real betis team and then look at how Barca currently play. Huge contrast. Something is seriously off and it goes to show you that Setien really has no much say over things. The dressing room is run by the senior players. This is exactly what happened to Valverde. His first game, I remember against real madrid, showed us what he wanted to implemented and Barca played good football in that match, then all of a sudden things changed. Same to setien. His first games showed glimpses of what he was trying to implement, now it is all gone. This is not a manager's issue but something deeper with Player Power and politics as well

We played well today but we were unlucky in the end. Sam struggled and in my opinion he shouldn't have started, Pique shouldn't play every game he needs rest. Great game from puig and Ansu. I'm looking forward to seeing Ansu and riqui start against athletico. Also for collado and araujo to get some minutes in the next games.

Thats one of the many problems at Barca. Too much is emphasized on board, coaching, and players which are all warranted but the physio team is a joke considering how many fitness issues and relapses the players have had over the course of 2 seasons. I think even Messi might be playing through some discomfort or injury right now coz he hasn't looked sharp these past two games unless he's saving it for the UCL.

Mats- Yellow: typical performance for Marc
Semedo- Dark Green: I feel Semedo had a really good game both offensively and defensively. He was vital in the second goal and saved us defensively once or twice
Pique- Yellow: Like mats I felt he had a typical game by his standards, made up for the free kick by bailing us multiple times previously
Umtiti- Dark Red: Sam was awful today. He had a few good moments early on but really costed us the first goal, and was reckless overall.
Alba- Orange: I feel Alba was quiet today. He didn’t do much going forward and he was caught out defensively a few times
Rakitic- dark green: I feel Raki really had a superb game. He made many interceptions, he moved the ball quickly, and he looked very very good in the DM role.
Vidal- Orange: my thoughts mirror yours exactly on Vidal, just too quite today
PUIG- Dark Green: I feel Puig had a good shout at Motm. He was electric in the midfield, always moving and he didn’t put a foot wrong really. My favorite player to watch by far this game
Messi- Orange: I know I’ll get hate for this, but for me, Messi only had two moments this game, and that was the assists. Apart from that there were two goals he should have scored as he had clear cut chances. But still an overall good performance, but you expect more from him
Fati- Yellow: An average game from the youngster. He was marshaled for large parts of the game, but did have a few bright moments and arguably should have won us a penalty, but we’re Barca....
Luis- Dark Green: I disagree with you on Luis. I didn’t see a ball bounce off of him, he had some good moments of dropping in a bit and laying it off for Puig and Ansu, and he took his two chances brilliantly. I say it was a strong performance from Luis.
Braithwaite- Orange: my thoughts mirror yours, never given much to work with and didn’t get into good areas.
Setien- Yellow: I think we gotta give the gaffer credit for the lineup. The team was so fluid and looked so good throughout the game, it was just individual errors that cost us.
I personally think suarez Should have got a Higher rating because without him score sheet would have looked uglier

I think a tier list at the end or for another video would be a good addition. You can judge who performed the best for the team as the top tier and the worst as the bottom tier.

Great video as always ! I have to disagree with you concerning the position of Rakitic though. Even though he's looking for the ball more now, he's still not a press-resistant midfielder and shouldn't play at the base of midfield. Also, as we saw against Leganés, he has the flair to come into the box when needed and create/score big goals.

What went wrong is they sacked Valverde and didn't bring in any one worthy to lead and tweak this current team. It was a bonehead move from the board and they blamed it on the players but the players or the ones in charge like Valverde and was comfortable with him. Ansu's play is kinda similar to neymar. Running down the wing ball rolling and winning most 1v1s. If setien use him properly we dont have to soend ge big money on a left wing instead find a replacement for Suarez for the money

I have something to say. If you watch the highlights of the game, you will see that MATS lined up the wall the way he wanted, but right before the ref blew the whistle, Pique got into the wall, completely messing it up. That is how Aspas was able to score. I’m not blaming it on Pique, but he shouldn’t intervine when the wall was already placed.
I think its flabbergasting, seeing the evolution of rakitic. From a goal scorer number 10 at sevila to a midfield attacker to a more defense oriented midfielder now may we be seeing the final form as a proper dm?

We can play Messi as CF , Suarez as LF and Griezmann as RF. Messi can continue getting assists
But also can be in perfect position to score goals. Griezmann can play really well as RF as he is left footed and create chances for Suarez and Messi. When
Messi comes in midfield there is no role for midfielders and he can miss
potential goals by not being in advanced position.
I keep hearing people say the title race is over. I disagree. Even though we didn't win the game today people don't realize that the situation hasn't really changed. If we lost the game then I would agree that the title would have probably been lost. but since we've drawn we'll only be two points behind Real if they win against espanyol, meaning that one loss from real and one win from us is enough to overtake them. Real only needs to slip up once and we're back on top with one point so actually, we still have a good chance to win the league. However, we absolutely must win ALL of our remaining matches.

If I was Setien, I would bring Arturo and Puig on in the second half, like the 50-55 minute mark. They are full of energy. But when they start I think they are trying to conserve their energy. I would've gone for Rakitic Arthur and one of Puig or Vidal. Also Messi needs to get back. I mean he is playing pretty good if he was an average player but for MESSI, thats not the way you play. I actually only mean the two shots which normally messi would've easily scored

I actually would say Riqui overperformed because this was an away game and he did have the pressure because he was starting a really tough and title deciding game and he didn't show any signs of any nerves and did really well
