Such a beautiful arrangement, don't you think? And it's in a nice 5 flats key. :) I knew I had to play this one day the moment I first heard it. This composition is still one of my all-time favourites by Joe Hisaishi. And yes, I've started listening to his works outside of anime as well.
Inochi no Namae means The Name Of Life in English.

About a week ago, a boulder claimed someone's life at Mount Kilimanjaro.
This and the next video is dedicated to Scott Dinsmore, one of my most inspirational heroes and founder of Live Your Legend, a movement and community where individuals are changing the world by doing work they love. He has been a huge catalyst for the work I do today.

The shirt I'm wearing in the video says "Live Your Legend" on the front, and "Do Something That Matters" at the back. I will be wearing it again in the next video.

@@takuan4045 Many sheet music don't indicate pedal instructions, so you'll have to decide for yourself where to pedal.

Try sheet music, I know the whole point of synthesia is so that it’s easier to learn, but sheet music is just so much better in my opinion, you can see the dynamics, intonation and pacing. Anyways just a suggestion, have a good day👍

That was fucking beautiful. i am a total amateur on piano, i learned half of this song, but a different version. when i heard yours my jaw legit dropped. you played the piece with such feelings, and really..good. something that i cant do at this moment. it kinda makes me want stop playing lol, when you know you still have years to go, so many hardships that you have yet encountered to get to this level..kinda unnerving ya know?

>> These are always tough questions for me to answer. I am largely self-taught, that's all I can say. When you're passionate enough about something, you'll find a way. As for how many years, I have no clue. I stopped many times, and there was also a period of several years where I was playing the flute quite exclusively.

You know, that gave me hope. That i can learn by myself and can be good like you. I dont really have teachers or have the money to take lessons, so that was really reassuring
I had a teacher when I first started out at age 7 or 8. But I'd say >90% of my musical ability and knowledge is self-taught.
