knicks fan here who was sad to see randle go. he does a little of everything, and the passing is legit. he was one of the best guys in the league last year once the Knicks figured out their offense in late december, right through when he got hurt. it was the best he ever played. he's almost too skilled, which means he has to mentally cycle through his menu of skills on each posession. last year, he was more reactionary in deference to the other guys on the floor who could play and it served him well. i think this will work for MN.

Howls and Growls just posted his breakdown on Randle's usage. I just appreciate what he does to create for other vs how Towns was on offense. We also played him at the 5 with Jaden at the 4 which I thought was very interesting. I know Naz was out but still very interesting. Everyone is worried about spacing which I think can be an issue until you put the ball in Randle's hand. Him and Rudy can create space on the floor when Randle is used as the facilitator. Ant will have issues in his one on one game but I Ant should be able to figure it out. Look at Dallas who was able to create space with Gaffprd and Washington on the floor sure Luka is a better passer and PnR player but that on Ant to figure it out and I from what I've seen with Ant he will. As for Minott I am not saying he will every be the defender or play maker but he is giving me more and more OG Anunoby type of player. If he can develop into that type of player this teams ceiling just went threw the roof. Dilly's needs to win Finch's trust and right now it's not there. We don't have the luxury in the west to allow him to develop on the court night in and night out. I can see him getting a lot of DNP this year. I think he is the one player people need to relax on their expectation this year. Lastlly, I hope Ant starts getting the superstar treatment he deserves. I look at how many type Shai go to the line and just scratch my head as to why Ant doesn't get those same calls.
Yea gobert's +/- was crap cuz the bulls turned into the warriors w their 3s n ball movement n transition play, that opened up the inside. Think donte is the pg as conley gets more rest this season given his age. Then we have randle n ant as altenative initiators. Looks like mcdanields going to ballhandle too. Naw is too mistake prone ballhandling. Randle looks a good fit, love to see the bullyball and a second shot creator on this team. Such a relief. But ant doesnt seem to know yet how to play w randle. Got to sort that out.

His D has been solid for 3 straight playoffs, but he shldnt play the 4, ofc he's more foul prone defending quicker 4s out at the perimeter. At the 5 when he gets the ball up top, he can be unstoppable against 5s w the 3 and drive threat.
That trade is not possible with the apron. Also played pg in Milwaukee a ton because of Bledsoe and Brogdon injuries. Started a lot of games there. He’s more than fine
Mcdanields has really improved this preseason, his drives, stop n pop, passing, rebds, all look better. He's voted most versatile defender by gms, at 6'9 guards all the guards so ant has more rest.

ANT is not mature enough to be a James harden RIGHT NOW at this point of his career. Even if he is it's not enough. Need another guy. Julius is a Guy, but with the stuff surrounding his name he has to be perfect. Ant needs to be humble and allow room for a number 2 to be an actual number 2. If LEBRON JAMES can give Kyrie the space to do his thing. Wtf are ppl talking about ant like he's Micheal Jordan foh

I am not sure it was effort so much as just chemistry, but it was jarring to watch after Dante at the point vs the Knicks was so smooth
Ant was just doing whatever he aint gonna play that way in the regular season but they need to slow down and make sure chemistry is tight
