Hello, I have a 20" 600# trunnion ball valve. What type of sealing lubricant should I use and how often should I lubricate the valve?

which difference between this trunion design in 02 pieces ( body & adapter) and 03 pieces ? thank you .

Good question. The valves are roughly the same in terms of design and function. The difference is the body and adapter construction. 2pce is usually made with cast steel and can be cheaper to produce. The 3pce is usually forged steel which can cost more to produce. There are more differences but this is my option on the main difference between the two. Hope this helps. Thanks for your comment.

How to identify the which flange inlet, & outlet in normally (with out install the valve )

Thank you for the comment. To answer your question. Generally ball valves are bi-directional. Meaning there is no specific inlet or outlet. You can install the valve in any direction. However, some ball valves can unidirectional by having special seats. The valve in the video is bidirectional.
If it was a check valve. Those will be unidirectional. Meaning they will have an inlet and outlet. Usually there will be a position indicator on the outside of the body.
Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
