    I ordered one today (1/11/2022) after watching several use & review videos. This video and the two you made for cooking are fantastic - you really took the time to read the documentation and work out some kinks so you could give a very intelligent and thorough review. Much appreciated!! Can't wait to make mac & cheese!

    My first impression was that it is very large and maybe for larger families. Then I thought - would be a pain to clean this monster pot. But when you showed the Self Clean feature, my thinking changed somewhat. Keep some focus on the self clean ability for others who take a brief look and may cut the video short.

    • @Thespicyapron
      @Thespicyapron  3 года назад

      Yes, the self-cleaning function is truly remarkable! It's one of my favorite features for sure - makes cleanup a breeze! (That's why I was shocked that I originally forgot to mention it when I was filming! I actually talk about that feature all the time! lol!) Thanks for your comment!

    I feel like this just doesn't solve any problems that I have. I have a blender and a food processor, but I pull them out once a year if that. I don't think steamed food tastes good, so that solves no problems for me. I feel like the type of person who wants to do all of that cooking will need to use several of those items at once, so will still need separate appliances. Those of us looking for short cuts in the kitchen want to at most throw a bunch of uncut meats, vegetables etc. into some sort of bins and have the machine cut/add/stir/adjust the temperature as needed. When I saw the price point and even some of the ads for this, I thought maybe that is what this was, but it is more like an over priced, confused food processor.

    • @Thespicyapron
      @Thespicyapron  Год назад

      Obviously, we're all entitled to our own opinions. I love my Multo and use it almost daily. I cook for large groups of friends/family all the time and it significantly cuts down prep time. And now I don't need separate appliances. It really does do so many things in one machine and often all at once. A true game-changer. And if you think it's an "over priced, confused food processor" then I did a lousy job explaining it in my video. It is significantly more than that, and is a remarkable innovative piece of equipment.

    Should have shown the price in the beginning. No Chinese cooking toy is worth $999.00

    • @Thespicyapron
      @Thespicyapron  3 года назад

      Hi Richard. You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but keep in mind that I'm the one who has my hand on this kitchen appliance and it is TOP quality. Very solid and sophisticated. (And, as I mentioned in the video, the PreOrder price is $799. A bargain. And even a great deal at $999). High-quality indeed. And I've put it through the wringer for sure!

      And this is why you may prefer a German-made Thermomix TM6 instead. It's $600.00 more, but most owners consider it as well worth the price. :D

  • @wendylynch7578

    Have you tired or compared it to the Thermomix TM6?

    • @cnnw3929
      @cnnw3929 3 года назад +2

      I don't think there are many cooking robots that compare with a Thermomix TM6. It's just the best, period. Consider the TM6 as the Hobart of cooking robots, because a lot of high-end restaurants use them. I think that's about all you need to know to reach your decision on what to get. :D

      And now that you've owned/used for a while, do you feel it's worth the price?

    • @Thespicyapron
      @Thespicyapron  2 года назад +2

      My true and honest answer is it's a total bargain! I use it all the time and it just gets better and better - especially as they add lots of guided recipes. Given everything it does, including cook the food, I think it's absolutely worth the price! Let me know if you have any other questions.

    “If you are not the kind of person who understands that it takes an investment to make your life easier in the kitchen then probably don’t get it”
    So condescending! I’m very surprised to hear that from you! Most people just can’t afford $800-$1000 for a luxury appliance! To say nothing of the space it takes up on a counter! “The price might be slightly off-putting” indeed!

    • @Thespicyapron

      Nothing wrong with an Instant Pot. Wonderful for many applications. But I use my Thermomix for things like caramel, and other items that require a precise temperature and timing. I'm not sure if this unit can compare to my TM6, but I'm sure it could be good for someone on a budget who wants something similar to a Thermomix that may not have the same precision and capabilities.

    • @martamichalene3527

      @@cnnw3929 why do you say it doesn't have the same precision? It actually does...
