I just arrived at my old sister house to help my sister to take care my mom & dad , I come Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, I’m off Thursday because I pray 2 hours in chapel with Jesus & pray for families & friends & the whole world are evils world & also pray for Robert . Free time I help out in the church every morning, Friday I come down to my mom house help my mom & dad , Sunday I go yo church join the choir singing in church . It's truly amazing you were able to create such an authentic dish by just stuffing the end of season bamboo shoots with some meat, guava leaves, a few eggs, and a little seasoning. The result was an extremely balanced meal - looks great, full of nutrients and I am sure absolutely delicious.
I guess the golden dog was delighted he dropped by to see you on a day when you were serving this splendid meal. I hope he does show some loyalty and stick by you like Mic does, rain or shine.

It's true.. Bamboo shoots. Is good in making pickled with chilli sauce.. Can be dried up too, and used it during dry season.. Can cook with meat.. And more.. Yes.. Simply delicious....

I love fresh bamboo. It’s so rare in my country n very very expensive. We can only get canned ones but taste is not as good as fresh ones. Thx for sharing Robert 👍👍

I miss to eat that...in our coutry we cook it like adobo with pork meat,cook with coconut milk and we called it ginataan,dinendeng with fried fish and cook in bagoong or fish sauce ...i miss all that

Hi Robert and I really enjoy your videos, you should try and grill those on the fire after you steam them to give them a smoky flavor as you don't use to many spices. try to find a someting in town you can put over the fires to grill or roatst them. just a suggestion
