Hahahaha, Yea I could only imagine how much the Radio overdid this one. 74mil views can definitely do that😅....But this is the surprising thing, is I never heard this song once. That's why it's so awesome going down this path of discovery
Fun reaction. I'm gonna add some fun facts about the video clip: 1. These two are very popular duo in Israel, and yes, they judge at "The Rising Star". 2. 3:30 - Tudo Bom - they repeat every time "Tudo Bom - Hakol Beseder" - that's the exact translation, that's how we say "all good" in Hebrew. 3. 4:00 - yes, that's exaactly the Mizrahi mix that gets in the Israeli music, as talked about before. Ben-El is a descendant of a Yemeni origin's family, he has that Mizrahi - Arabic sound. 4. The clip was filmed in Tel-Aviv. The Man at 4:39 is the mayor of Tel-Aviv himself, who was a guest in the music video. The cop standing next to him (also at 5:19) with the sun glasses is Jordi, the song producer, a brilliant one. 5. One reason that this video has so views, is because it was discovered 5 years ago by Felipe Neto - a famous Brazilian RUclipsr with more that 11.5M subs (at least back then). In one of his videos he entered the hot videos in several countries and one of them was Israel. When he saw "Tudo Bom" he was really excited about the animation and the words in Portuguese: ruclips.net/video/tSZMCUBW07A/видео.html As a result, the comment section in Tudo Bom music video was flooded with comments in Portuguese. Here's a fun report about that: ruclips.net/video/jy6zZzPceJA/видео.html Enjoy! I know I did 🙂
Oh my gooooood I cannot believe myself! How could I not think of recommending this to you?? This duo (which broke up lately after a quit good long run) was some kind of a sensation here in Israel. You mention BEP, they actually have a song with them, with a latin vibe. And yes, they were on the judging panel on Rising Star. The one who rapped is Static(stage name. His real name is Liraz Russo) . Very intelligent guy, very fluent in different languages and dedicated to his work. If I am not mistaken, he was adopted as a kid/baby from Brazil. The other one is Bel El Tavori. He is the youngest son of an older generation very famous singer Shimi Tavori. His sound is indeed more Mizrahi oriented. At least it was, before he and Static teamed up. Their sound together was more of a mash up of pop genres, and Mizrahi is quit strong in the mix when Ben El joins in. Glad you liked it. :)
Nice to see that the copyright claims on this were worked up. This copyright regime we live in is so messed up. I already made my long rant about it on one of your posts. This kind of thing bothers me so much.
Amazing! Just started following! I was really asking myself if you only listen to the more religious Israeli artists because of religion or respect but I really enjoy seeing you reacting to some of the less religious and more poppy gener artists! Catch up next noa kirel new single ‘gone’ She is our representative in this year Eurovision 🥰
Yea, I definitely focused more on the religious artists/songs since I wasn't really aware of of the Music scene. I'll be starting to add more of a mix if I can, but I just enjoy music as a whole. There's genres I'll gravitate more too, but everything is worth a listen too (at least once or twice 😅).
If you want good israeli singers you can react to- 1 narkis-she is a a very good singer. 2. Sarit hadad- woman singer 3. Idan amedi 4. More hanan ben ari / liran danino/ ishay ribo/ natan goshen/koolulam. 5. You can try ofra haza (r.i p) she was a great singer. 6. Keren peles or miri mesika. 7. Idan raichel - "mimahamakim" 8. David dahor- avinu malkenu..
Static has a beautiful video that he arranged with a lot of Israeli music Stars, it's called קטן עלינו.. You'll probably love it ☺️ Btw you're doing great 👍
So, it should be noted that while this might qualify as culturally Israeli to some degree, it isn't decidedly religious by any means. I know, you're an "equal opportunity reactor" but just wanted to put that out there. Reason I'm saying this, though, is that if you want a more religious take on the same phrase with a similar (but different) Brazilian influence, check out Micha Gamerman's Yihye B'Seder (Tudo bem) ruclips.net/video/5XiQncvULJQ/видео.html
You mentioned the current situation where mizrachi music sort of blended really well with rock and generally speaking is the mainstream music in Israel now. Here's a lovely and lively example of the singer Idan Amedi live. I highly recommend especially since you enjoy good music so much:) - ruclips.net/video/NO1gM2QJqZA/видео.html Thank you for your lovely reactions and open mind and heart.
@PortuguesePai 4:00 accurate. As usual you pick up nuances and details. The song from the Mizrachi genre in Israeli music and like other songs by this duo became a hit with millions of views.
This stuff is fun I guess, but I'd love for you to do more slow chasidic stuff with more enjoyable vocals. Here's a good one ruclips.net/video/zZ99uDcs-Ng/видео.html
The singer with the glasses is originally from Brazil (adopted), that's why the song is in Portuguese...
As an israely who suffered from this song playing on the radio nonestop for a while, i really hate this one😅. but i'll suffer for your reaction.
בדיוק מה שחשבתי 😄

They did a series of songs in different ethnic musical styles. I love Bananot, which is African style

100% agree. Check out Narkis "sadot" Also if you haven't done Hashem Melech 2.0 its worth a listen also.
Goooodddd
Finally been waiting for long time for you to react to Israeli music videos 💪🏻
birthright has entered the chat

This was literally my jam and it still is 🤭
Cool animation and effects. Although a totally different music style, check out "NO OTHER" by LEVI ROBIN for a really unique and cool animation style.
Can u do the English version of this song done by the same duo?

I showed this to my Brazilian friend and his reaction was "this is not Samba at all!"
