I own both PDM Layton and Creed Aventus and I've had no problems getting great feedback with Aventus, but Layton just doesn't work for me. It smells too feminine in my opinion for a man to wear and in my experience women dont really care much about the scent in comparison to other fragrances. The scent is not necessarily bad, but honestly it's not for me.

I have a 2020 batch of Aventus and new I can say that it last super longer now after almost 1yr later it stays and performs well on skin and last days on clothes, dayyyys!
@@hocineted7594 ok....so in comparison to my 2016 batch...it’s more balanced and gets me more compliments oddly. So I would lean and say it’s more musky than fruity with the 16batch as reference. It’s just a good balance...the opening is more fruity but with the pineapple subdued and the bergamot apple are at forefront...the ambergris patchouli carries the scent all the way home at the 10hr mark...then oakmoss and musk becomes a nice close encounter skin scent.
I order some a bottle of Mancera Sicily (at a pretty sweet price) from fragrance USA. They sent a sample of bdk Gris Chanel with it and wow that might be my new favorite fragrance. Best sample I’ve ever been sent

Just a few months ago, I ordered Le Couvent Maison De Parfum Tinharé, a unisex fragrance, and apparently it’s a dupe of BR540, as well as more affordable in price range. I also own Prada Luna Rossa Sport, and it’s 👌🏻😄 It smells very unisex on me 🙈☺️ I also just received my bottle of Molecule 01 today, but because I’d never smelled it before, just heard hype about it (also unisex, apparently), I purchased it in 30ml. I also layer some of my fragrances, but I might give this one a try both on its own AND layered 🙂
2014 I worked at a temp agency and our temp manager visited the factory site we were stationed and he had on Creed Silver mountain water had to be the dry down or whatever had to ask what it was the name sounded expensive and he told us it cost him 2 of his checks 😂 some good stuff

2 scents that legit get compliments and conversation starters for me are "Creed Virgin Island Water" and "Sosphiro Erba Gold".
