This was the first video I ever worked on - I did the styling/wardrobe. I was 18. This was the first video ever filmed at Paisley Park - it was still under construction. I used the same concept in clothing for their album cover Magic that featured this song. I worked on many of their videos and shoots. Great family - polite and hardworking and very very nice.
i gotta disagree but she was definitely talented. she sounds more like lisa lisa from the cult jam where as Fitzgerald, Aretha, Winehouse, Houston or Adele would light her on fire as far as range. and Mariah C when she was taking care of her instrument and even Celine Dion and Christina Aguilera. we won't even get into CeCe peniston lol.

When I was a teen in the 80s The Jets were on fire!!!! U would hear their music everywhere. I’m in awe how they are siblings and so talented!!! The lead singer has a gorgeous voice and loved the slow as well as their fast songs.

I had a crush on the song "Crush On You" before, this year I have a crush on this song. Although I wasn't even borned in the 80s, I love The Jets's music. 80s is just ageless and eternal.
I always loved that look she gives to the camera at 1:10. Reminds me of why I had the hugest 'crush on her' (pun intended) back in Junior High. When she [Elizabeth Wolfgramm] sung, she always melted my heart. That voice! It's so sad that she stopped singing after that fiasco that happened between her brothers, and how their label screwed them. I'm thankful to God though that she beat her bout with breast cancer and has gone one to live a full life with her husband and family! Hope she decides to sing again.
I just heard this song today on Sirius 80s on 8 and totally forgot how much I loved The Jets! Real instruments and real voices = real talent. Not all of this auto-tuned crap that's out now.

THE JETS defined the teen pop music on a matured sound level in the 1980s. All the good memories of the mid 1980s brought back by their music.. I missed the good times.
I just heard this playing in a bar...................and i was the only one who knew what song it was. I had not heard it in years, and came home and put it on. Call it corny if you want.............but we are not seeing this talent today at all. The 80's were fun, even if we didn't realize it then.
My sister Lisa worked for Don Powell Management as these talented singers and musicians burst into the 80s. My sister loved and respected this family (as she does still to this day). It was so awesome to see them in concert in Cleveland back in the day. Loved their music! It takes me back to some of the best times in my life!

A little bit of Trivia. When I shot and produced this video for The Jets - we intercut scenes from Beverly Hills Cop 2 through out the video. The Movie Scenes were pulled from the video a few days before completion of the project by the Movie Studio. The Video had to be released without including the total concept because the Song had already reached the top 10 on Billboard, Because of time constraints - we were not able to shoot more scenes. It's all about Politics!
