no shes a woman the government and any large business gets paid when they hire females and even more if they arent white. and if its a management position they get even moreee
I was in the Marine Corps for 20 years as an officer. The deepest darkest sin you can commit in a kinetic situation is failure to act. She needs to be taken in told how she’s failed, disarmed, decertified and escorted out of the building. No charges, she’s just in over her head. This is a sad situation punctuated by incompetence.
1st, thank you for your service. 2nd I agree she should be booted, but those who enabled this kind of officer getting through the academy should be held liable. I feel real bad for 1st responders, it looks like your superiors really don't give a damn about either your or the public's safety.
Talking about tiny knives...in my much younger days, I was a bouncer at a somewhat rough bar in downtown Greensboro (NC). On one of my rounds, I had one dude who was around 5'5" and 120lbs who got angry when I told him he couldn't smoke week on our patio, so he whipped out his knife. The knife in question was a tiny little thing...you know the ones that has the nail file, tweezers, and toothpick? That. When he pulled it out, I laughed and told him to put that little $h1t away before he got hurt. Well...little folks can sometimes be quick and he got me. The slice started just above my right nipple and continued down to mid abs. Long story short, both of us needed to go to the hospital that day. Me to get 58 stitches, him to have his arm set in 2 places. Ever since then, the scar on my chest reminds me to take *all* knives seriously.
Absolutely. She was not only useless, her partner trusted her to provide the non lethal cover so he would NOT have to shoot, so she was actually a liability in the situation.
@@africanlipplateandbonenose3223 I’ve worked alongside many women who were/are more than capable to do the job, and women are great communicators (most of the time), which is beyond helpful on a lot of calls.
He did everything right too. Made a plan as they approached, responded to the situation, was assertive but not aggressive, backed away and gave clear commands, instructed the other officer on the best course of action and clearly didn't want to shoot her but felt he had no choice, you couldn't have two more opposite officers by the looks of it. No verbal acknowledgement of his instruction, no preparation despite non lethal being the first port of call and no responsiveness to the situation whatsoever
@@robkirkham8873 And I mean honestly even with this quality of footage it looks like the female officer is giving a stupified blank expression. You only saw her open the holster flap after that first instruction. I mean come on they should have had it out and ready to use. How slow and stupid can one person be.
I like how when she did finally pull out her taser that she didn't even bother really holding it up let alone even aim it at the woman. Then afterwards she looks to not even be phased that someone just got shot. When told to cuff her and get the knife away, she just picks up her arm barely and tries to toss it on her back. Like not one ounce of effort was put into any action she was told to do.
This should be a lesson to the bleeding hearts that lowering the standards to become a cop, just for the sake of "diversifying" our police forces, has serious consequences.
Did she think non lethal meant just stand there and talk it out? You can tell the male officer was pissed at her because it was an easy situation to resolve and he had to pull the trigger
This seem sobvious but it's a good point. Clearly her training added absoultely nothing, so it really should make you wonder whether she was even trained to begin with.
Probably a political hire. She looked at Male Cop and was totally baffled. She must have been talking to herself in her head. No commands received. 🤦♂
As a chick cop that was always in on the fights, this is very frustrating... spent my whole career trying to make sure no one called me a quota hire. :/
I grew up wanting to be a cop, among many other things. Due to the fact you get to interact with the public, drive cool cars, help solve issues, and protect others. But I knew as a kid I could never be one. Watching COPS as a little kid (about 10) I thought it was incredible what they do, sometimes it’ll end up as a heated argument, other times it’s chasing a person with a gun and putting your life in danger. I realized then, that I am way too passive and quiet to be a cop. I’m not a big guy (5ft 9) and have anxiety. I just couldn’t be a cop. This woman, somehow didn’t realize that. I’m sure she saw the same things growing up and wanted to be able to solve issues and protect people. But didn’t realize she’s too hesitant and passive. And now someone is dead because of her. It’s absolutely horrible! Not everyone can have certain jobs. I realized that long ago for myself. Probably if I spent countless hours I could’ve become a cop, or joined the military. But the risks I would put on others unless I devoted 100% of my time would far outweigh the benefits of me. Don’t get jobs you can’t complete
Even when the male officer says, "taze her TAZE HER!" She still didn't pull out her tazer? Absolutely froze under pressure. Yeah, she needs to be suspended and evaluated as to whether or not she should remain a police officer at all.
@@maskedwaste5133 That's a fair point. I guess I was projecting, for lack of a better word. The only way I could see myself not following my training in similar circumstances, is if I freaked out and failed to act at all. God willing, I would do the opposite and actually DO SOMETHING useful.
@@billybob9961did we watch the same video? She seemed perfectly coherent and stable to me. Walking was fine, she stepped on the curb just fine. When spoken to, she acknowledged and replied. She ignored the protocol and by doing so put herself, her partner and the suspect in danger. They had an entire parking lot to keep distance from her, the male officer has his weapon out by the time he’s 1/2 way thru the lot. The female walked right up to the suspect with no weapon out at all. Both hands nonchalantly in her vest. Even after she was told and confirmed she was going less lethal. Even when her partner is backing up she’s watching, she’s also moving, not in any direction to help though. She didn’t stand there and freeze or space out. She was told what to do multiple times and both times replied and confirmed she would do so. This is inexcusable. I don’t know how you could even attempt to give her an excuse for such pathetic behavior.
Retired Cop of over 25 years and a Field Training Officer: In training I’d call that a “failure to engage,” and should’ve been reported during training. If they failed to resolve the issue during training I would’ve reported it to the training supervisor. If it was their last phase I would’ve recommended termination. Regardless of male or female because I’ve seen both. Current affairs have made law enforcement officers hesitant. Hesitation is caused by not understanding the law and, or, procedures. Failure to act is the same as overreacting.
it's interesting that at all times she was slightly ahead and them infront of her partner, and at point of contact way closer to the knife holder than him. She just strolled on up there and did nothing.
That's a good point, she probably has never been in any serious situation in her life and therefore should have never been a Cop (giving the fact that she seemed as you put it "Checked Out") let alone an actual patrol officer (behind a desk maybe)!
The woman officer's lack of courage and inability to respond in a dire situation ultimately lead to that woman's death. What a shame on so many levels.
its not lack of courage or inability to respond in a dire situation, its literally like everyone says; there for the paycheck or like donut said, waiting for her order lol
under this pressure idk how well i would do. i may freeze. i may unload. but i can tell you this much: a discussion of my actions would be a discussion of how dumb my decisions were not how good of a statue i make.
Cop thats trying to sabotage? Theres no way someone that joins the police force and goes through all that training literally sits there and watches another officer nearly get stabbed.....
The female officer apparently ignored a clear command from her partner and was insanely slow to react even when being yelled at to deploy her taser, all of which made a citizen death inevitable. She's lucky the citizen rushed the male cop even though she was closer and unarmed. And even after the citizen died she just stood there. She's a liability and I couldn't see why any officer would be assured she has her partner's back. She needs to go and take the fall for this
I feel so bad for the male officer, you can hear in his voice how much he regretted having to do that, he didn't want to shoot her, but was left with no choice because his partner didn't do her job.
@@alamedaslim9438, yes lots of people grin when under extreme stress. This is a common response, possibly instinctual - chimps and other monkeys "grin" (show their teeth) to show dominance.

My thoughts exactly, especially when he began to cuff her, she's not even pulling out her gloves. This is a paid ride along for her and the male officer is flying solo as a result. If I were him I'd be reporting her to HR, the lieutenant, the captain and the chief as well.
This whole scene just goes to prove that no matter how much training you get, some people cannot handle the job. I was in the Army for 3 years and while we recieve routine training (above and beyond Basic and AIT) nothing will really prepare you for when live bullets are being fired AR you by real life enemies - THAT is the moment your training kicks in, or it doesn't It did for him But not for her

That officer makes me feel like my dream of being a police officer even in my obesity and questionable mental health condition seem like a possibility. Thank you for encouraging me former officer Casey.
AT first, I thought like many others with LE and FTO experience she was under training. However, I recalled seeing the officers arrive in separate patrol cars. That normally doesn't happen. Call her in.Sit her down. Play the video for her and ask her if she still thinks this profession is for her. If she answers yes; Fire her!
I was waiting for it. I was waiting for him to even go "What the duck?!" and be done with it. Man said, "You go non-lethal" before they even crossed the lot. Didn't pull out her gun by mistake, thinking he was taking non-lethal coverage. Just sat there. My condolences to the families.
Staggering incompetence. He had to tell her what to do all through the video and she still didn't do it. This is what happens when you have to fill a quota instead of recruiting the best for the job. She's utterly unready from the moment she exits her car.
She was involved because the suspect was a woman. It actually makes sense. What doesn’t is letting someone who can’t be on point engage in that scenario. I suspect she went through the requisite training. And it may have been her very first engagement of that type. You never know how you will react to that kind of thing until you are in it. The Biology of your very own body and brain chemistry could betray you. Part of that training should include stress tests. The lawsuit should jog that improvement into action if nothing else would. She may havebalso been the only officer available. And i’m fairly certain that her confident approach meant expectation of her opportunity to talk her down as a woman. Maybe this was the first time that didnt work. I dont know. All i know is that the silence and shock prior to radio in meant to me that the cop literally couldnt believe what happened. The sadness in his voice when cuffing her got me in the feels. What a nightmare
Rather than sheer incompetence, it may have been her attitude towards following a man's suggestion. She really showed him how times have changed and what an "independent" woman is.

Yeah I’m with you. She might of well have had her hand in her fuckin pockets sitting on the curb. And I know there are some absolute badass female cops out there, but we’re starting to see a trend of incompetency
To me it sounded like he was almost grieving or on the verge of tears, knowing that it was his plan to have lethal and now he's thinking "if only i told her to go lethal, i couldve tased the woman and saved her". Dude couldnt be more torn by the situation yet is still doing his duty and for that he needs commended
He did lose it...watch the real footage, both officers failed miserably contrary to what Doughnut says, extreme failure in training and professionalism, including Doughnut I hate to say for making light of this incident, I am ashamed of this on so many levels!
Not only did she show she has no idea what she’s doing, but I personally believe anyone who can put a “ partner “ of theirs in a situation they may have to take another life, when they didn’t have to ,nor want to ,has no business anywhere near those situations
No man, she has all the idea. 1 not acting alone but wait for a brain to get there to take control of the situation 2 hearing instructions clearly, to go with non lethal, while the other officer baits the suspect and get all the attention. 3 stay away from the line of fire and attention on a 30 degree angle at least. 4 since the other officer is a misogynistic pig ignore mansplaining and do fuck all 5 even with the suspect bleeding on the ground still do nothing until she feels like it and finally kick the knife away and handcuff. 6 now she can claim mental stress, testify against her partner and training and SOPs in place and retire to a desk on medical grounds, claiming discrimination on anything and wait for next check
I'm sure some women have the temperament to be effective police officers. It's pretty clear this one certainly doesn't. It will be a shame if he takes the fall for her failure.

@@promajoyou’re supposed to keep shooting until the suspect is no longer a threat. Also, there’s a 21 foot rule when it comes with a knife. Short explanation, if someone is running at you with a knife, if they enclose within 21 feet you barely would have time to react and pull out your lethal option to protect yourself. Many people die by not having enough time to react to people with knives. The situation could have been handled a bit better if the other officer had their non-lethal out but in cases where you’re alone you match lethal with lethal.

My heart breaks for that officer. You can feel the frustration and pain in his voice. He had zero interest in shooting. Forced to because he got absolutely no support from his partner. You can see why there's a lawsuit (other than there is always a lawsuit). Had the female office done as trained, done as instructed, the poor lady might still be alive.
Like the way he says, "cuff her" or "get the knife away" he sounds frustrated and almost mad at her. Like he should be. She stood around while he had to make a choice to take a life. She needs to be fired and policy needs to change
@casey98 that comment is gold 🤣 but true. She had no idea she just put her partner in a place where he shouldn't have had to take a life had she done her job.
As a supervisor with 20 years in the job, I can absolutely without a doubt say that Kasey should not be a police officer. They had the perfect situation, the triangle, for her use a Taser on that woman and potentially save her life. Other than approaching at the right angle Kasey did nothing to assist the other officer forcing him to shoot the woman. Kasey needs to be taken off the road and she needs to become a dispatcher. Departments are always looking for good dispatchers.

My bf and I went through the video, and the raw footage. WTF? What was she doing backing off behind that car? He was very specific. "Kacey, tase her." It was like she was on another planet. At one point, she appeared to be looking past the victim. This woman should be taken out of service for good. She's got no business being a cop. It was like she was trying to undermine him.
i can see the frustration and defeat in the officer's arm movements after he shoots the lady, i just know he was giving his partner the death stare for those few seconds afterward
Not only did she not pull her non lethal but she walked right towards the woman with the knife after the other officer clearly announced she was holding a knife (without drawing her own weapon whether lethal or not) this is a woman who has never been in a real dangerous situation in her life. She should have went for the cafeteria job, or maybe a kindergarten teacher 😂
She didn't freeze up or freak out. She just stood there and watched it happen with a blank face. She didn't even try to jump in after the incident to render aid or help her partner until he said something. I hope they win that lawsuit because that was complete negligence on her part, and now that guy has to live with her mistake on his conscience forever. My heart goes out to the family and the officer who was forced into that situation.
Another unfortunate point to add is that Alivia (the suspect) was also a mother of 3, so because of the negligence by the female officer she caused 3 children to lose their mother.
Also consider the people who made the call might also feel guilt themselves. They just wanted to help the mother, but unfortunately it didn't end the way anyone would expect. No one wins in this situation. All because one officer failed her duty, her badge and her community. She was the weakest link in the chain.
LOL. She was under no obligation to use non lethal. She was perfectly justified in shooting. She knew she drew her pistol because she fired 5 quick shots. If she thought she grabbed her Taser, she would have pulled the trigger ONCE. I'll bet if you watched the video with no sound, you'd call it clean. She was under no obligation to everyone who thinks she accidentally grabbed her pistol instead of her Taser, obviously doesn't know how a Taser works. She would have pulled the trigger ONCE. You don't pull a Taser trigger multiple times. (Some traders allow 2 shots, but not all of them.) If she thought it was her Taser it would have been ONE shot, the way you use a Taser.
Mate, shes not Officer material.....the situation OVERWHELMED her.....she could not think, process and conclude anything.. Male officer prepared her but still she moved/thought at a Turtles pace.. She may be a lovely person but a Polìceman she is NOT...
I doubt he will face real issues here, cops are unionized and bodycam clearly shows dude had a sound plan and did what was necessary after his partner either panicked or was a retard, that being said female cop will likely get the boot as there is only so much union could do in face of such evidence even if they decided to stick out for her while city will likely drop a huge settlement with victim's son since technically they did fail by letting Casey Price do actual police work. The real bitch for him will be memory of having to kill somebody and likely trust issues with future partners until they actually prove themselves in his eyes.
I used to work doing loss prevention at a department store when I was younger. We had a female who worked with us received all the same off and on the job training as us and 1 day she had to stop a shop lifter. She chased her through the store holding her handcuffs in the air screaming "security stop"!. Needless to say they got away.
I feel really sorry for the male officer in this scenario. It must be a terrible feeling in these life and death situations knowing your partner doesn't have your back!
There is absolutely no way she can continue on the job… NO officer will ever work with her (not if they’re smart anyway). If she doesn’t have the good sense to resign… one hundred percent, she should be canned (and hopefully prevented from joining any other force/department). There is too much on the line in that job to allow someone that useless to be involved.
I have seen newer episodes of COPS where dude has a young female cop with him. She turtled and cried and he was forced to put himself in danger to rescue her. It's gotten beyond completely pathetic.
While women shouldn't be officers in any case, the male in the video is absolutely useless too and so are a lot of males in the police force this is just pure clickbait. Have you seen the videos of countless overweight male officers being easily outran or even overpowered and having their own weapons taken?@@codychickadee5095

Even when her partner is backing up she’s watching, she’s also moving, not in any direction to help though. She didn’t stand there and freeze or space out. Props to the female officer for being able to put on her make-up without male officer being there to tell her how and when.
Casie! Eyeliner! EYELINER!
Female cops couldn't wrestle a 10 year old boy to the ground let alone a grown man. Worthless. Desk duty.
Boldly of you to assume he wasn't there to tell her!
@@tglake2894well now she isn’t gonna do it
😂😂😂
I’m a retired UK cop…..if anything like this had happened on our shift, no-one would be willing to woe]rk with that woman in future….she is a danger to all her colleagues
in the UK, a cop in ths situation, would you shoot? multiple times (seems like in the chest too)? are you even carrying a gun? no other ways to diffuse or handle the situation? do cops train other ways to disarm a knife from a woman? I mean for cops in the US shooting is the first point on the list to handle any situation it seems
UK cops do far worse for far less and get commendations from their peers lol
@@IroncladTactical Yep. Like pepper spraying a handcuffed suspect or arresting an autistic teen girl for saying a cop looks like her nana who is a lesbian (at least that one generated hilarious Halloween costumes).
And how many hardened commenters did you arrest?
U don’t need to be a cop to know u shouldn’t just stand there and spectate
Literally kicking rocks in the background
My heart breaks for that officer. You can feel the frustration and pain in his voice.
He had zero interest in shooting. Forced to because he got absolutely no support from his partner.
You can see why there's a lawsuit (other than there is always a lawsuit). Had the female office done as trained, done as instructed, the poor lady might still be alive.
Officer: "Casey, tasse her! "
Pretend officer talking to herself: " I think Mindy's FB post was directed at me, that bitc...."
bam bam bam
@@casey98omg why isn't this on the main comments.
@@WinterSniper26 dude would have had the top comment if it was on the main page lmao...
I'm so pissed at the female officer. Like, what the hell are you doing??????? She does not deserve to wear the badge.
Not any kind of dispatcher I'd want
she had to sort through her feelings first
He is WAY calmer than I would be if that had happened to me. Casey would have gotten such a freaking earful.
Body cams. No one is allowed to tell the truth, because it will offend the feminazis. Thankfully, the truth is getting out. Hopefully, there are enough good people who have not been brainwashed by the left wing harpies who will see what’s happening and vote for a change.
Probably happens all the time, he's used to it by now
I agree, I would have been raging at the female cop right after that. Kudos to him for staying calm though and not reacting to his worthless fucking partner.
@grantn8879 bet he's going to lose his patience, every time she fails
Wouldn't expect your YT persona to utter such words. LoL
"You go non-lethal."
"Casey taze her!"
"Hand cuff her."
"Take that knife away."
🤦♂️🙄
That female cop has no business being a cop.
She cannot think for herself.
She acts like she's brain dead.
She has no ability to respond decisively under stress.
She also failed to respond many times in a manner consistent with her training.
even when given commands she is in the clouds.. 100% useless
i'd say shes a NPC but even they would have done better.... fr tho was she high?
She could probably be an ok barista.
@@TiggaTreyshe probably "has anxiety" lol
@@YippeeKiYayMrFalcon i wouldnt trust her to make me a hot chocolate using milk with marshmallows and whipped cream on top

Donut I've been watching your channel for ages bro and I love everything you make. I wana visit your skate shop sometime man. Buy a board from you. But anyways your a savage keep it up
Unfortunately, the female officer needs to rethink her career. Her inactions put her partner and the deceased in danger.
That last sentence. Some, if not most, strive to undermine constantly. In any scenario.
Not a victim but a perpetrator.
i can see the frustration and defeat in the officer's arm movements after he shoots the lady, i just know he was giving his partner the death stare for those few seconds afterward
that first clip is terrifying
Not only did she not pull her non lethal but she walked right towards the woman with the knife after the other officer clearly announced she was holding a knife (without drawing her own weapon whether lethal or not) this is a woman who has never been in a real dangerous situation in her life. She should have went for the cafeteria job, or maybe a kindergarten teacher 😂
Or maybe a movie critic, since we know she likes to watch. She is worthless as a police officer, for sure.
A failure on multiple levels
She couldn't be trusted to follow basic directions I don't know if she should be trusted around children either 😂
@dominickhaas6088 Seriously though!
Cafeteria Jobs can have union rep and are are cut throat about negligiences with food.
@@4187 No. She could have prevented it, but she didn't cause it. Alivia caused it herself.
@@philblakely Yeah that's true, still doesn't change the fact that it could've been prevented all together.
Affirmative Action at its finest.
You might want to look up what that means bud.
@@jasonwiggins5615 Affirmative Action applies to female hires for the sake of diversity of gender, not just for black people. Bud!
I can feel the officers disappointment that his backup comes is a coward.
My word!! How inept. She showed no regard for her partner's life, let alone the perp's life, or even the badge she's wearing 😢
Mate, shes not Officer material.....the situation OVERWHELMED her.....she could not think, process and conclude anything..
Male officer prepared her but still she moved/thought at a Turtles pace..
She may be a lovely person but a Polìceman she is NOT...
It was so weird. She completely froze. It's like she was watching a movie.
Hope the male officer doesn't get in trouble. He did everything he was supposed to do.
Policing isn’t what they were designed to do.
Here's your equal rights, you're welcome..
what? Aren't you happy?
You must be a misogynist then.
Thanks society.
But we can't say we don't want to work with females. That's sexist.
she was wortless. any criminal charges should be on her for not protecting him
Can't be criminal charges but there is a civil lawsuit.
Qualified immunity, baby
That makes police work even more difficult. Maybe your ideas represent the actual worthlessness, here.
But women can do everything a man can do
@@DeepFleeceheart Except qualified immunity isn't what you think it is. It's only relevant to discretionary acts, not statutory ones.
Retards keep throwing around "qualified immunity" like it protects cops from everything and "hurr durr they aren't obligated to protect you" without actually reading the court case involved.
Pleasantly surprised there aren’t comments saying “Why didn’t the cop disarm her!?!”
This is one of those times, the officer and not the male officer who shot but the incompetent officer who did nothing should be charged with the victims death. That female officer had so much time to actually deploy non lethal and pissed it away .
