Martin Galway inspired me to become a musician. I grew up loading games just to listen to the music, Times Of Lore, Parallax, the Ocean Loaders etc. They sent me to another place, another world. Thanks for the upload. Cheers.
Somebody else did a cover of OL2 on here. A young guy from Finland. I actually got Martin to view it and he commented on it and jokingly demanded another for a week later haha
@@nickthefox72 This is my favourite live c64 cover artist, Reyn Ouwehand. Listen/watch this live performance of him doing Martin Galway's Green Beret. He plays all the instruments, keys, drums, guitar, bass, recorded in layers live. It's amazing. From 16 years ago: ruclips.net/video/v8UBY8Yj9c0/видео.html
An awesome performance and a great thing to get this live!!! Could you get the chorus more aggressive in your (my) face? The C64 game had an aggressive chorus which drew you in.
this is awesome! 😍 been your fan since you had a video of covering monty on the run in a garage or so.. are you the same band? couldn't find that video on your channel 🤔
@@br3030 no it’s just the drummer screwing up. You can see the bass player giving him the eye. The proper thing to do this sort of situation would be to hi-hat count the breaks in between.

You massive techno nerds I totally love this.
Awesome stuff guys ! Keep it up !
Kick ass job!!
Awesome!!!!
Cool
Unrecognizable
Tight band
wow
Deep Purple "Anya" theme would be a nice ending or interlude. But I think it is not the same pitch.
Very cool, but the sound of the C64 is unbeatable

However crude and rough this is, I am very fond of this version
@@ulle85 yup! that's the one thank you
@@retrohead this one is also a great one from the same session (more available from the uploader)
holy sheep
Holly sheep, indeed!
It hurts my head how off-sync they are at the start.
maybe cuz of the morse code. im surprised they wanted to try putting the morse code in live
