I can imagine that an original 1940’s SAS ID card could move mountains in todays world. Huge respect to the greatest generation and even more so to cream of the crop of the special forces of the greatest generation.
I feel Sir Lee's pain. I collect military patches too. OG Group Diane patches are impossible to find. I was lucky enough to snag the shield one some years ago.

I am NOT a star struck person at all, i could pass anybody by who is famous and not care in the least. But Christopher Lee might have changed that, such an interesting life he led compared to mere entertainers and mortals.
“I’m wearing the same clothes” made me burst out laughing
He DID have and wore a LOT of checked jackets too, dog-tooth, herring bone...etc

It's visibly dated 1986. It's an SAS Regimental Association membership card - not proof that he ever served with them.
Amazing and well done that man who kept his promise and got it for him ...
Extraordinary man.
His reaction is awesome I love how he has such love for military folk
Goodbye my hero:(
I agree.
I wish we just had a quiet one on one, non-movie, conversation with him
In 2017 all 107 items of militaria which made christopher Lee's collection were auctioned off in north yorkshire
Indeed. I know of one particular follower on the PCASUK Facebook Fan Page, who owns a lovely selection of Lee's medals. Very impressive...
Wonderful. RIP to the great man. x

What a true geezer he was ❤
I love background to lives.
Bart is the hero!!🎉🎉🎉
I wonder what happened to the collection after Mr. Lee’s passing. Hopefully it remains entirely intact and somewhere where it can be housed properly.
I would hope it's either with a Loved one or a museum.
