This whole video was taken in Jakarta, Indonesia. The kids and younger people look up to Brian. He just got invited by our President for he’s accomplishing this couple years. Not trying to be a overproud Indonesian, but he’s one of the best rapper in Indonesia, and maybe Asia. Love the reaction, love from Indonesia

I legit shedded a tear watching this, I'm so proud of Brian and I'm so proud to be asian. We never had a leader in this modern day in the the media to lead our people, and now we have Rich Brian. We're so proud of you Brian. It's never about race at all, it's about the art. But, being underrepresented my whole life, it is very moving to see someone of asian descent put out great art.

The way you guys commentate this video is way I have been subscribed. I only meant rappers that make a mockery in this instance, i didn’t mean you guys don’t review the best hip-hop songs that other channels don’t react to and everything that fits the true meaning of hip-hop. I just meant rich brian mocked rap culture to get into hip-hop.
Seeing him on accident on Dat Stick so many years ago (must have been 2015), I thought he was sick. I then forgot about him. Recently looked him up again and man, I'm so proud of this kid, gdamn inspiration.

Dude didn't come into the game to mock hip hop, dude was a big fan with a sense of humor. He started changing cuz he didn't understand the cultural appropriation at first due to him being from a different country and not speaking English at first. He explains in his interviews, I don't listen to his music but this track won me over
Naw. It was definitely a mocking angle pushing a stereotype when he came out. His beat choices, lyrical content, name change an even his voice did a 180 compared to the shit he came out with.
