I should totally agree with you. Celia is original and is an extreme in her talent. I can understand that, if the kid student Darci is so good, how good should be the stage experienced opera singer & teacher... Wow.

Damn. She CRUSHED that! She can not only sing but all the other voices not only different tone but accent. Not once did she pull you out of the illusion. NICE!
The understatement of the day was, "you put a twist on it". She twisted it, weaved it, and braided it! During every second of her act my mouth was wide open in disbelief. She went above and beyond all expectations. I am looking forward to her every appearance!

As a ventriloquist myself, her mouth position and expression show its totally real. Her teeth don't part and heo lips don't close. But her total control over any mouth movement is amazing 💕

@@kontheachhkenhi4619 AGT has allowed winners and participants from other GoT Talent forever. This is not new and there have never been rules restricting who can enter. The Sacred Riana was on AGT in 2018 after winning Asia's Got Talent in 2017. The majority of the AGT audience has not seen these acts before, so it is fortunate that they are allowed to partake.

This is a different style that I ever seen , unique and original, can't wait what she brings next , absolutely incredible , BRAVO !!
All that breathing and diaphragm control, etc that comes with operatic training just came in really handy for this talented lady. This was absolutely amazing & very inventive. I agree with others saying Golden Buzzer quality.
I love seeing the audience lose their minds over this performance! She is brilliant and as many have said, no one has done it like this before. This show won’t do her justice on how amazing her talents are, and I hope she gets opportunity of a lifetime
She’s going to make lots of money in Vegas I’m sure, and good for her cause she’s immensely talented and am sure worked really hard to create and perfect this. It’s something new, she’s a trailblazer.

This was the most original, creative, and entertaining ventriloquist act I’ve ever seen in my life!! Most Ventriloquist’s use puppets but instead she used some everyday items for her voice

Her first having been a trained opera singer plays into learning how to do this well in such a short time.
Especially modern Opera singers aren't just trained to sing, they learn the ins and outs of the entire human sound generation apparatus, it's not their voice, it's their instrument.
And on top of that, a large part of their training goes into learning how to project without amplification.
And ventriloquism takes this projecting in another direction, instead of projecting a voice to be heard everywhere, the projection is more focused and meant to make sound come from a specific place.
I was thinking opera singing would train the voice in a way that overlaps with ventriloquism. Thanks for the summary. 👍

A total new angle on ventriloquism. This is so good. It opens up so much ideas on the subject. Like everybody talking to themselves everyday, she can do a act like that. While getting ready in the morning brushing teeth and combing hair and you look in the mirror running in your mind what you need to do, stuff like that. She is amazing.
What Celia did is exactly what all Ventriloquists aim to do but can't: Speak without moving their lips.
I have never *EVER* seen a ventriloquist achieve what Celia did here and I'm talking about some of the best. I feel confident stating she is *BY FAR* the best ventriloquist in the world at the moment.
She did move her lips...so she could clean her teeth...LOL!
Or drink water while singing... Lol
You need to watch Ray Alan.
I did actually see them move ever so slightly once, but that was while the toothbrush was inserted in her cheek, and that may have been the most difficult part of her act to manage anyway, and it was almost imperceptible and lasted for maybe half a second. I have seen every performance she gave in Got Talent, including Espana, and that was the only mistake of any sort I spotted in any of them, and it took at least seven or eight viewings of this one to spot that little bit and be certain of it. I have seen people doing this for 20 years that were less proficient at it. I want it known that I didn't mention any of this to be critical of her. Quite the opposite, actually. I applaud her. She learned to do this in 2 years, and that is the only possible bobble of any sort in ALL of her performances that I have seen EVER. Here is another question I have. Why is it that nobody is complaining that she is a professional and therefore should not be here when they lambasted others who had been on other shows they didn't win as professionals? Again, this is not being critical of her, I loved her act immensely. I am criticizing those people who complained about the other contestants. The contestants specifically that I am speaking of most are the woman who sang the song from the Greatest Showman and came on to finally claim her property as the actual voice of the song from the film, and the girl that came on after getting zero chair turns on The Voice who came here and did Funny Valentine. People came here and ripped these two new nether passages for being professionals when neither had won anything before. This girl was actually a professional, making a great deal of money as a singer, and her act has her singing in it, so technically she is doing the same thing she used to do, she is just doing it without moving her lips. Isn't that exactly what they lambasted those two for doing? Again, not being critical of her, rather being critical of those people for complaining about those two women. And there are men that had professional careers prior to coming on, not one of whom ever received a single complaint. It seems that only women get that complaint ever. And only if Simon gives them His golden buzzer. That was another thing they had in common, Simon. He gave the American a golden buzzer and the Brit was on the year before they started giving them, but Simon literally gushed over her on BGT. He said her voice was like liquid gold and she could sing the phone book. Higher praise I think I have rarely heard from that man for any contestants. So maybe it is just women contestants that Simon gushes over that people have a problem with. And, while he praised this girl, he certainly didn't gush, and he certainly didn't give her a golden buzzer, so people couldn't complain about her being "a professional singer" before appearing here to sing.
Who made you THE world expert on ventriloquist ? 🥱 You have an opinion just like everybody else, nothing less but nothing more so you absolutely cannot statw that she is the best in the whole world. She's great, she mastered the art very quickly obviously, and her experience as an opera singer certainly helped. I love her fresh look at the trade, it is very enjoyable and welcomed but since I, just like you, have not heard every single ventriloquist oh the planet, I cannot say, just like you, that she is THE best. But I enjoyed her performance and innovation, and I'm sure that with such a wonderful personality and talent, that she will go very far in her career ! 🥰

When she turned on the radio and started going through the stations, I was completely sold and it just got better and better. In history only a very few ventriloquists became household names like Charley McCarthy. Celia deserves to be world renowned. Thanks for sharing.

this isn't ventriloquism, this is its own new thing in that field but a whole new thing. I've never seen anything like this performance in my nearly 50 years. definitely a place in Vegas for a show like this. BRAVO!!!!!

She made the sounds of the static on the radio as she is turning the dial looking for a station. She had such a variety of pitches, and vocal ranges for different voices and fantastic control of them switching back and forth. I especially loved the "phone call" with Manolo. That was funny.
She didn't! Those radio sounds she made? She kinda learned that from her opera days! Ever heard opera singers? The kind of sounds they can make go well beyond singing! Check out the diva dance from the Fifth Element! You won't the kinds of sound they can make!
However... the fact that she can such sounds WITHOUT moving her lips or even with things and even WATER inside her mouth? Now THAT'S awesome!

Pues no recuerdo su edad y la verdad no entiendo lo que dice en inglés sólo lo vi por qué la conozco de el Got talent España y quería ver lo que hizo fuera, pero si como dices mintió en su edad, NO entiendo a qué vino y por otro lado ella tiene una larga carrera de estudios de cante de ópera, creo que de lírico, habría estado bien que se hubiese lúcido un poco más en ése aspecto, pero seguramente lo dejará para otra actuación, bueno pues nada, no nos quedemos en ése detalle y disfrutemos de su Gran talento y simpatía,

I hate to say this, but I think the reason she didn't get the golden buzzer was, she didn't have a sad story. She wasn't bullied in school. She didn't come from a broken home. She didn't grow up homeless on the street. I was expecting her to get the golden buzzer. The boy that did get the golden buzzer was good, but he didn't do anything really original. He played the saxophone, but he has a sad story, so he got the golden buzzer. Terry Crews even all but admitted that was the reason he gave him the golden buzzer when he said "I hope all those bullies are watching this right now."

This definitely was entertaining. She's so good and all this in just 2 years.
I can imagine her doing a one-woman show with different songs on the radio and interesting characters calling her or knocking on a “door.” She could create a storyline with conflicts and problems she had to deal with and solve. Or even a mystery of some kind.

This is what I wish ventriloquist acts were always like. Ever since I read the book Fairest by Gail Carson Levine, I have always wanted to see this kind of act be performed. The main character in Fairest called it "illusing" and it is so cool.

Paul Zerdin had a conversation with a shoulder bag and sat as judge while Howie Mandel twerked and did a jig. That means the other three judges got a far closer look at his lips than judges normally get. Sheri Lewis had a conversation with a sock. Sir Wencas talked to lipstick stains painted on his own hand. This isn't entirely new, but it was unusual, and was quite well done.
@@kontheachhkenhi4619 You are aware that the other Got Talent shows are treated more like feeder shows to AGT and BGT, right? They are the minor leagues while those two are the big leagues. You should apologize for nor knowing that, or worse, knowing it and still complaining.
