Always a pleasure to watch your vlogs and this one is no exception. Just got to add for those never having visited Cadiz but may do in the future as it's very popular for cruise ships is that if you walk straight through the town past the Cathedral you will be greeted by a lovely long promenade with a number of beaches, such a lovely walk.
Loving watching your vids of the iona canaries cruise. Really good info. We go on 19th Feb. Never thought we'd ever look forward to someone uploading a vlog. Great work guys 👏
Great video! I've been to Cadiz twice and loved walking around. We've booked to go to Seville on our Iona March cruise. I know it's a long coach journey but Seville has been on my 'to do' list for a while. It's the only excursion we're doing as like you we prefer to explore independently.
We are sure it will be worth the long journey, sometimes it’s nice to do something completely different, and Seville sounds lovely. Thanks for watching and enjoy your cruise 🚢 xx
We're going on Iona in a month to the Canaries. Could you give me any information about the paperwork and covid tests etc before and while your on board. Love watching your trips.
When we went you had to be double vaccinated and have the nhs app with the proof of vaccination, then we had a lateral flow test at the terminal before boarding, we waited about 30 minutes for the result and then was aloud to check in and board, this process took approximately 1 and half hours from arriving at the terminal until getting into our cabin., so not too bad really. Whilst on board we didn’t have to do anymore tests at all, but there were a few occasions that we had our temperatures taken before going ashore. Hope this was of some help, we both hope you have a fantastic cruise in the Canaries and thank you for watching 👍🏻😊
@@MattAndKelly thanks both for the information. We've been looking forward to it for so long I keep watching anything I can to know what to expect. P&O have just been in touch to say they are changing our cabin to space us out. But they'll give us the equivalent or better. It's a shame as the agent helped us get one just where we wanted for convenience. Thanks again for your channel. X
Hi Guys, Again a great vlog !! Memories, We also just did our own thing and ended up in a street side restaurant and had a wonderful meal. Had an even better evening with you two. A good few drinks with just the best company. Thank you for the memories guys. Love Dave and Mandy xx
We really enjoy and look forward to your informative videos. Especially as i (Ken) am a veggie and so find your foodie reports great. Your so lucky living so near to the cruise port alas we havnt sailed from Southampton as its a good 6 hr drive, so always do a fly cruise. The Iona looks great and we hope to sail on her sometime, cruised 28 times but never with P&0,as we have never found a good deal for fly/cruise. Best wishes Ken n Di x
Thank you, we are glad they are helpful especially for a veggie 👍🏻 that does sound like a long drive, who do you usually sail with? Always love a bargain! We have never done a fly cruise but are hoping to this year. Thanks for watching xx
Great filming and editing guys. We where also at the cancelled show - couldn’t really make out what the issues where?. We never did got back to see....
We've been there a few times. Recommended the Mercado Central (I think you called it Farmers Market) with its greek columns central courtyard. There is a nice place there to get a glass of wine and chill out people watching. 1st floor has a bar to got an espresso and watch people from above.
Many thanks to you both for the update, Cadiz was one of the places we really wanted to visit that was scheduled on our Med cruise that was cancelled. We are just itching for our cruise to Alta in Norway this December, a wee jump up north from our last one to Tromso. Cheers guys. 👍
I'm on Iona tomorrow for my Northern Europe cruise but yesterday was told it's changed to Portugal and Spain! Quite happy to be honest 😂 Looks lovely xxx
Hope you having a lovely time on board now as I suspect you are now on the ship as I write this…. 😆😆Cadiz and in particular Lisbon are beautiful destinations, have fun and thanks for watching 😊👍🏻
Thanks for your content. Very honest and enjoyable. What is your favourite P&O ship? These new big buggers worry me a bit. Too many guests. I wasn't overly struck on Ventura and Azura. Not sure about the internal public room layout. I loved Oriana and still like Aurora. What do you think of Iona and Brittania? You mentioned standing room only at some shows. That would put me off I think. I quite like the smaller Fred Olsen ships now.
We do love the big ships but that’s all we have been on. We haven’t tried the smaller ones yet! Every ship has something different so it’s hard to say which one is our favourite. Thanks for watching it’s much appreciated 👍🏻
Enjoyed this vlog, its the first one Ive seen where people have just got off and walked around in Cadiz. Can I ask a general Iona question, do you know where the smoking areas are? I dont smoke but have my cabin allocated now and wondered if its near a smoking area. Also you didnt show what you bought at the jewellery stand? Was it a gift? Looked like you had a fabulous day xx
The smoking area is on deck 18, not sure if there are any others dotted around. From the stall I got two silver rings with a ceramic top, handmade and they are lovely. I completely forgot to film them when we got back 🙄 Hope you have a fantastic holiday and thanks for watching xx
Fantastico. Really enjoyed Cadiz. I had to laugh about the brocolli Kelly, my Paul is EXACTLY the same, never looks and also gets the midnight munchies. You guys make my Friday nights now, what am I going to do when you reach the end?/!!! Take care and stay safe, lots of love, Sherrie xx
Thanks, so glad you enjoyed this one, Cadiz was great and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Glad Matts not the only one 😂 thanks so much for watching and we are glad it makes your Fridays 👍🏻🥰 xx
Hi guys, my name is Stephen, and me and my partner are going on the Iona mid November. Could someone please give me an idea of clothes to pack. Should I be taking lots of winter wear. We are doing the same trip. Thanks so much

Thanks for that 👍🏻 hopefully if we go again we can do that walk. Was a lovely port 👍🏻 thanks for watching 🙂

Think they were running behind so cancelled the first show 🤷♀️
Thanks for watching again👍🏻
