The horaes quite often show great gentleness and affection to children who aren't yelling or rushing around. The horses are very giid abd quick at sizing up different people's natures. I remember one occassion where the horse kept nuzzling the top of a young woman's head much to her delight..😊❤😊
It's the smell, pheromones I think. I had a pony who would bury his nose in my daughters hair when she was young and follow her everywhere. Horses are obsessed with foals as well, sometimes with tragic consequences as it's not always friendly and they will attack them.
I agree with Megan Fedor. However, these horses are part of the guarding process. They are part of the equipment of the guards. When police ride on horses no one is allowed to touch the horse. Why is it not the same for the horses of the palace guards? Too many people and noise and too many (almost constant) touching of the horses does not seem to be a good idea. Horses do have feelings and can get spooked and can be a safety issue. That is why there is a sign warning people about the horse may kick or bite. That sign is in English so a sign could be put up to not touch the horse. So then for safety people should not be able to near enough to touch the horse. He is part of the guarding duties. People can take pictures of the horse and guard at a distance. We took good care of our horses and loved them dearly, but they are still animals and need to be respected. People are not allowed to touch the guard, they should not be allowed to touch the horse as he is part of the guarding unit!!!!
That horse is always kind to children.
We had horses on the farm. Horses know the difference between adults and children. They are usually gentle with children.
Horses are naturally empathetic. They are excellent therapy animals.
