I live on Guam. I know how much devastating hurricane we call it typhoons can be we had paka. It lifted small car's and cracked concrete, destroyed a gas station. Peeled metals of the roofs. Left us with no power, water, food. After 3 days the freezer, fridge started to defrost. We was on our own. And no gas because the reserve gas was burning up. We had to wait 15 days before the federal help came. And then we waited 16, 24 hours getting in line. Waiting for the public service to give out food stamps, cash 💸 help. Even with cash, food stamps there was no food to buy. No gas for the car's. Thank God we had chicken and other animals. To cook and feed the family. The hospital's had back up generator but with out gas ⛽ well??they were overwhelmed with injured people
coming in.they had to wait almost 6,hours to see a doctor. Without gas the government pulled in the school busses to take people from the mayor's offices to where you want to go. And they really
Tried everything they can help. Some of us was just mad at the people in public office workers. And started to yell at them. I pay taxes 😒. And they where mad at us saying yes just like me. It was a catastrophe. Because none of us wanted to go home. with nothing when they started to close the doors. They had to call the police. They started to talk to the people. Just come tomorrow. They are going to give out numbers. You don't need to wait. You can come to the front line. So at least we can have the help we needed desperately.
Guam is beautiful and great place. You people are brave and fortunate to live there . I wanna visit Guam atleast
RIGHT! Iniki devastated Kauai here in Hawaii.
Wow im sorry you had to go threw it
@@trendingsocialthings6799 if you are serious about coming to Guam 🇬🇺. Let me know. It is a beautiful island 🏝. Belongs to USA. And Guam is where America's day begins. Ever since covid 19 we lost a lot of Japanese tourists. It was a chunk of our incomes.
Japanese people love Guam. I hope they can come back as much as before. Now with the monkey pox virus??we are all hoping the
Governor is not going to shut it down again.

Sending prayers to all
How devastating and horrifying! I could not imagine what its like living in florida right now. I pray and hope everyone stays safe and there are no casualties. Love, thoughts and prayers from New Mexico. 🙏 Especially to the people who have lost everything.
Thank you so much for your concern. I’m a Floridian resident currently in my parents house. Our power goes off every once in awhile. I’m grateful for my dad thinking ahead and installing wooden planks to cover the front door so water can’t get in.
My former co worker recently to be near her family in Port Charlotte. Sending love, prayers, and God's Blessings to everyone in Florida.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

It's time for the guy with the Spanish name to put everyone who wants to get to safety on planes and bus them all to downtown Martha's Vineyard. Who's laughing now folks. Ian The Destroyer is the justice from god..remember he's watching.
Yes it's bad, our garage and patio is flooded, the road is like river. Be safe everyone.
Chills watching the power of this storm as it hit. Praying for all 🙏

I live in Orlando area. By the grace of God, I survived. No damage to my property. Power is on. From these devastation pictures, I see that many are not as lucky. My prayers go out to all affected Floridians.
Orlando didn’t even get hit hard.. everyone in Orlando survived, it’s the west coast that got them dangerous part
Glad you were ok! 🌸
news make big deal out of little or nothing. most damages come from people leaving their homes over nothing
Ugghhh I went through this last week here in Atlantic Canada so I sympathize with you. Our Category 3 storm combined with another system to give us a "Sandy" with a side of "Dorian", and it was the strongest/largest storm to ever hit Canada. God bless you, your family, and neighbors. I hope you are able to get things together soon. 🇨🇦🙏🇨🇦🙏🇨🇦🙏
@@myz6177 yeah because “leaving ur home” causing wind damages to it. You are dense.
Prayers to everybody out there. Although tropical states are Beautiful in nature, they come with deadly disasters. Glad I live a mile high above sea elevation
Wowwwww. This comment does it. It’s like you want to live “fearless” but. How?
You're giving excellent coverage of this event
Gods peace and grace be with all who are suffering from this storm 🙏
@Timothah Molone what's with this copy and paste comment?
Ask God, I will not intertain your ignorance!!!
Prayers for all impacted!!!!
@lockhimup Mind your business.
Prayers are worthless.
@lockhimup Christianity is a superstitious joke. This is a result of climate change. It's only going to get worse from here on out.
When you are told to leave..... JUST LEAVE. When you make bad choices to stay you out others in danger. Very selfish.
My prayers!!!
Prayers are going out to all of these families that has lost there homes in this storm
Thank you we need it it is awful I have never seen so much devastation in my entire life and we are still feeling the wind and the rain
Prayers for my neighbors in Florida. .. my heart goes out to you all .. 😢🙏🏽❤️
I'm Brazilian and I still don't understand why the US houses are made of wood, here they are all brick and concrete, they would be intact even with a tornado.
Wood and press wood is cheaper than brick and stone. But, why build homes so close to the ocean when they can be swept away. Nothing man made can over power the ocean. We should be thankful that this type of weather is seasonal and not every month.
@@brightsky7826 So it must be really expensive, because with all the history of disasters that the country has and they still use wood. because Brazil is a country with a poor majority and all the houses are made of bricks.
Some homes have their parts pre-made in a factory. It’s faster to build homes with wood too. Brick would not only be less cost effective to transport but more difficult to install as well.
Also depending on where you live, brick homes may not be viable solution. On the west coast for example; a brick foundation would be more likely to crack during an earthquake and harder to repair afterward.
I live in Florida. My family wasn't affected nearly as bad as the people in this video, as my family was not in Ian's direct path like others were.. Watching this is horrible and terrifyingly shocking. 😨
I hope many people are doing okay and can get a speedy recovery. God Bless everyone horribly affected by this hurricane. 🙏👼
How crazy that you can be in Florida and not really affected. The ones that have been and the ones lost.💔 “ocean taking over the land” 😓
@@yucruuu What I meant by "not affected" was that the area where I live was not in the direct path of the hurricane. We were on the outside of Ian's path. Of course I was affected emotionally. My whole family was. I have some cousins and a Uncle who lives down there.. We were always keeping in touch with them to make sure they were safe.
I live in Florida as well and am blessed that we didn’t suffer this type of damage!😢I pray for all those who suffered damage and loss. It was very scary!
Im in Austin and ive been following the damage and rescues. I am praying for each and everyone❤

Wtf r u a moron? Whats praying gonna so also god doesn't give a sh1t
Stay safe you guys!!

Bloody hell, those winds and the seas swell, I hope everyone is safe, one thing that amazes me is that those trees didn't capitulate, still standing after all that, wow
Those trees are made for that kind of weather. The way they can bend and move they are made to withstand a good bit and high winds and rain.
Prayers for those that have lost everything in the hurricane
@Sun n Tan dude...hate life much? Leave the person alone, troll. People are suffering, keep your comments to yourself.
@Sun n Tan I agree with everything you said but the last part, no need to insult people over what they believe in when it doesn't affect you..
Send money. Prayers do nothing. Besides. If there was a higher being. This was it's will. Why would you question its way of things. Basically saying your agenda is more important than this beings agenda. Wouldn't that be insulting? Then if it did answer your prayer and not others prayers would that be playing favoritism? That's so not like a superior being. Have any of your unrealistic prayers ever been answered? So if I pray for a million dollars. Without working for it. At some point I will get a million dollars if I pray 24/7? Your brainwashed. It's time to realize your brainwashed. Wake up.
What a magnificent storm. Sucks so many people lost their house, but what a sight to behold!
Bruh prob not the best place to say that lmao
Mother nature is loving, comforting, nurturing. Destructive, shockingly devastating 😢 💔 😞, super power, strength of devastating. We humans are powerless to stop it, control it.
When paka came. We had I think 🤔 3 casualties?? 1 old woman was looking out the window. And at that moment the window exploded.and 1 piece of it entered the heart. No help because it was to strong for the ambulance. Or any vehicle can't come they had to wait 6 hours. To make a call power lines was all over the roads. Tree's all over the island. My friend was stuck inside her house. Because paka peeled her roof. She was hiding in the closet.
The coconuts was soooo dangerous. They started to break the windows. 1 of my husband relatives found her house empty because paka opened her back door and front door. Everything was washed away. 😪 not 1 furniture. And the most horrible and shocking thing was.
She opened the Graves dig and took the coffin ⚰ they are washed-out to the sea. But some of them got stuck by the Tree's debry. The families had to identify the dead.
@@suxxbank132 depends on how you interpret it. Magnificent is also grand, largeness, impressive. Not in a positive way, just big.

How long is this hurricane/tropical storm forecasted to last?
Prayers 🙏🏻 to Florida from Maine 🦞.
It's totally devastating for EVERYONE living there in FLORIDA & the economy will most likely be affected due to all the damage, loss of so many cars under water, home repairs & rebuilding that will have to be done & the insurance money that this will take is enormous as well, but yes there will be some jobs for those skilled workers & money will be made by suppliers & sellers of wood, shingles for roofs & home goods too etc, but still it's so sad & don't know if there were any deaths yet, but I have never seen such coverage like this of it being filmed as it's happening of roofs flying off & a refrigerator floating in the water, etc-that I recall anyway! Must be absolutely terrifying & stressful for all the people & having to leave home to safety! I have been & am praying for all that have to deal with this hurricane, floods, etc from Ian! Winds of 155, not much survives in this kind of weather! God be with you! I was born in Florida but only lived there as a baby & then my parents moved but visited every year in July as a child & was just there in 2018 in the middle of September-and I have lots of relatives that still live there, hope & pray they are safe too! My heart goes out to you all!
I doubt this will be our last major storm of Hurricane Season in FL
It comes with the territory
That is terrible! Heavy storm ugly I feel for those people out there. So traumatic I am just blown away. I wish you all the best out there I hope relief comes and a lot of people made it through. That is sad.
I'm just BLOWN AWAY too!
Prays to all affected. Having lived through Andrew in Miami and Michael in Panama City, I have one bit of advise. The recovery part is a marathon, please take your time, be patient, you survived, don't risk your well being or life in the aftermath. I don't live in Callaway (neighborhood in Panama City) but a friend who does told me of a man who got crushed under a tree while working with a chainsaw in his yard. He died a while later because no one with the right heavy equipment could get through to help him. Please be carful the after the storm part is a marathon, be safe. God bless.
Thanks for the prayers we need it ... This is awfully I can't believe we made it through here in Zephyrhills just south of us not so good prayers to all help is needed quickly ..

That's why you don't want to live by the water anymore. This only gets worsen every year.
Exactly! Disaster pathway don't block by people because nature take it course.. people must respect the path of water, seashore is a nature path and don't allow people to live there so dangerous.

All the Florida newbies learned a valuable lesson, if they survived.
Hurricanes, especially Gulf of Mexico hurricanes are not to be taken lightly. You have several days warnings to get out. Failure to do so can cost you your life. In this case it did to many people.
Prayers to all involved with this storm. I'm saddened by the devastation.
Prayers 🙏 to all from Pittsburgh PA 🙏🙏🙏 absolutely devastating, I cannot even imagine!!!!🙏‼️‼️‼️
My prayers go out to people who lost the places that they live in and for people who lost loved ones. I can understand if people wanted to stay. Sometimes , they have nowhere to go, or unable to get to a shelter. Though the storm didn’t hit here. People lost their condos and houses due to tornadoes. This was very close to where my father lives and in the next town from where I live. I pray for them as well. 🙏
So what about now? What position are they in?
@@yucruuu They are in bad condition and need all of the prayers we can send. 🙏
@@cindyeisenberg8367 will take more than that. Will take actual physical work for those people to be ok and continue have somewhat the life they’ve been used to or trying build for themselves. They have to have that internal strength. The knowledge awareness of what’s possible to do where they will make their next move. I hate this was so powerful and destroyed so much. Some people are or were able to just up n leave not a scratch to their lives however yes you call somewhere your home and expected to keep safety. When you are not safe in a home no matter the conditions. It’s like what kind of life reality we actually living in. All this fancy stuff someone wanting to be better look over another person. Togetherness rn is what’s needed. True unity and not even just in fla. they have many states around them that just like hurricane Katrina. Good Lord! That house was just swept off the map!
In Seminole Florida/ Pinellas County. We literally dogged a bullet a few hours before the storm made landfall. Models for the past few days before the storm predicted the storm would collide into Clearwater, and hit over our area. I could not imagine the damage that would have happened to us if the original landfall was too happen. Horrible to see this happen to our southern County neighbors. Will try to help in any way we can, and hope everyone there can preserve whatever they can in the wake of this monster.
