Following that they teamed up as faces with Kingdon and later the BCC throughout the feud with the JAS. After Santana got injured at Blood & Guts Ortiz kept on hanging out with Kingston till the House of Black mischievously sparked a conflict between the two earlier this year. Ortiz was gone from telly since then.
Glad seeing Santana & Ortiz back! Crazy they teamed up with the BCC and going against Eddie Kingston..& they did Rey Fenix Bad!!
Fenix will be fine. Better than coming out saying, he is trying to get residency in the U.S., and cannot compete in the UK

@noentry1202 the constant chopping back n forth. Moxley blades himself and doesn't hide it well. His wrestling skills are very amateur. For him to be a top guy is embarrassing for AEW. I can find 10 guys at my gym that can do what he does and it will most likely look better. There's no skill to what he does.

What a confusing and underwhelming return for Santana and Ortiz. How many factions are in this segment? BCC, Best Friends, Lucha Bros, Eddie Kingston. Typical AEW overcrowded segment that gave absolutely no room for the return of Santana and Ortiz to breathe. This is a week before their historic PPV.

Santana and Ortiz have been with Eddie Kingston since day one since last year against the J.A.S and now they came back to turn him? P.S Santana and Ortiz are back now push them and have them win the tag team titles
Ortiz's last appearance was him and Eddie brawling and eliminating themselves from the face of the revolution ladder match. His last match before that was him fighting with Eddie during their match with HoB. They'd been constantly tense with each other in the weeks leading up to that as well.
Santana got dragged into Eddie's feud with the JAS, and subsequently injured and put on the shelf for 14 months.
Both of them have reason for wanting to turn on Eddie.

Maybe I’m looking too hard but Ortiz didn’t interact with Santana whatsoever. Maybe things aren’t totally patched up between them, but just enough for them to be professional.

For context: Kingston attacked Ortiz the last time they teamed up, then Ortiz disappeared from AEW TV. So yeah, Ortiz ain't happy.
Santana and Ortiz were fighting alongside BCC when Santana got hurt. So there's continuity on Santana and Ortiz still maintaining that alliance.
