0:23 Black, Red, Blue, and White. I'm certain this is the four Tezcatlipocas, each of which is one of their four colours mentioned here and each of which created a sun (and assumedly their own cycle of creation) of their own in some versions of the Aztec creation myth. Black Tezcat can also apparently just be called Tezcatlipoca? It's a very cool piece of info but I wonder why he says he's all four of them if his NP is only the Black Sun?
He can manifest Red Blue and White as well Probably has something to do with his name being Tezcatlipoca unlike the rest who have their own plus the colored Tez name
@@docanon222 It is both, since we already one being Quetzalcoatl being the white one, the other two are Xipe Totec being the red one and Huitzilopochtli being the blue one.
4 Tezcatlipoca refers to the 4 major Aztec deity, the black Tezcatlipoca being himself. Funnily enough, Quetzalcoatl is also amongst one of these 4 Tezcatlipoca.
@@orochiredimido1368 Fr that would be rad. I'm reaching hard here but Xochipllli would be cool too, but ofc they should add the Flayed One. You cant only have 3 of the 4 direction deities.
That’s Japan for you, but I guess to be fair, he as a god, can take any form or shape. His body here as a Servant, is a human vessel that he created for himself, because he’s a Divine Spirit and can’t manifest as a Heroic Spirit otherwise.
It's a known belief that aztec culture used to believe gods had some outlandish features, like blonde hair evoking the sun or white skin as the moon, so in this manifestation, Tez is blonde as Quetz because of this belief
@@andyjoestar88 nowhere in the corpus of mythology does it say that, it has nothing to do with your white supremacy fallacies and everything to do with the fact that the design is lazy and missing some actually cool stuff from aztec culture you find out 8 minutes into googling
@@andyjoestar88 nowhere in the mythology is that stated, show me the INAH record and we'll talk. Tezcatlipoca created this human body to be with Daybit, who thought he looked ridiculous (lol poor Tez, dude is down so badly Blue one taunts him he was desperate to answer Daybit's summon). He was trying to be "recognizable" and approachable (imo, he resembles Kirschtaria Wodime because Daybit specifically seems to admire him among humans). It's not as if he looked like this back then. That skull creature is also another form.
“I’m Black, Red, Blue, and White”
Sometime, somewhere, Quetzalcoatl is sharpening her macana.

Late but isn’t Tezcatlipoca more of a title than a legitimate name

Because Nasu saw 4 Tezcatlipocas and assumed they were all the same entity because lol, just like how he kept saying the Aztecs were in South America
Thank you so much, I love him😭😭😭
“Tonal” is probably “Donaru” - Bellow/Roar. Makes more sense since Tepeyollotl was a giant jaguar
No, Tonal is an actual word in Mesoamerican culture.
Tonal = The duality of the human.
Now i want that Camazotz to be playable 😩
Resent live stream
“When’s Camazotz playable?”
Game staff”Mmm… looking forward to it”
Aztec gods are op
Bro summoned god like a damn pet
Bro is the GODdamn pet XD
That's originally his 3rd ascension form, but they had to change it due to the game's limitations.
Thanks!🌋🌋🌋

So cool
Dang I wish they didn’t white wash the Aztec Gods but Tezcatlipoca’s design and np is still pretty darn cool lol
I'm more offended by the fact that the god Xipe-totec, the brother of Tezcatlipoca, Quetzalcoatl and Huitzilopochtli, is not in the game.
