Fun fact: if you choose to tell Phenomaman that you kissed Blond Blazer, he kisses you himself to “check” and he concludes that you had nothing to do with his breakup. It's both sweet and frustrating watching jay choose heros based on their profile personalities rather than stats-
Build them right, and their base stats don't matter so much. Either min-max their strengths, or give some love to their weaknesses.
I went the min-max route. Sonar compensates his weak stats every time he shifts but the bonuses to charisma and intelligence become bonuses to strength and vigor, and both Malevola and Waterboy are great for generalizing, so they can cover the rest of the team's weak points or further boost their strengths during team-up calls.

jay you need to use the talent points to make heros more well rounded rather than focusing on one trait as most missions have two targets

It’s best to have one that’s great for at least every stat before rounding them out just a bit. Having them too well rounded means they might not do those events where you need to reach a certain level of stats to succeed

I think waterboy has mad potential, you just gotta increase his stats by sending someone along with him. Also I think Robert and Invisigal together makes way more sense but maybe there might be some HR issues 😅

Hey Jay! Little recommendation. When upgrading their skills also do keep in mind that leveling different qualities will make you have a richer selection for all the scenarios, when for example, you need someone with charisma and prism is not available, but since you upgraded someone else’s charisma they will cover and manage the job!

Guys I’m gonna spit out a theory here, invisagal is/was Toxics Girlfriend an is a double Agent. NOW HEAR ME OUT.. when you’re trying to escape from the warehouse (first ep) toxic yells “get out of there babe” to seemingly nobody in the middle of all the chaos, then suddenly we have a bomb planted on us that nobody knows how it got there. Robert is in a coma for months, by then invisagal had time to join the program So she’s either a double agent or there could be the whole “change them good” like actually an she turns on toxic to help the squad.

I would genuinely go for Invisigal as well cause Blonde Blazer literally JUST ended a relationship and is already making moves on another person, and the chemistry is just not there when the interactions are quite based off of their workload and their connection of being colleagues in a sense of a higher up instead of being in a team like Invisigal. Not to mention, Invisigal seems more genuine with her actions rather than Blonde Blazer being a little suspicious (imo) and I can’t wait to see what her story reveals cause she really might be like an antagonist revealed later on

Not really a spoiler, but there's short comic issues released by Adhoc and one of them shows Blonde Blazer and Phenomaman's dinner. It's implied they broke up because Phenomaman has an obsession with protecting Earth as his lifelong goal (could be programmed to do so since he's an alien) while Blonde Blazer wasn't keen on spending the rest of her life being a famous superhero. Surprisingly, Phenomaman took it well without arguing with her. I think most people would be less suspicious of Blonde Blazer if they had included this in the game. It really shows that she had been thinking of breaking up with Phenomaman for a while due to their incompatibility of their future and her actions towards Robert since the first episode comes off more genuine.

This is a mild criticism, but its meant to be constructive. For the jobs, pay attention to the highlighted words. They tell you the element that you are looking for from the hero profiles. "Ward Off" attacks would mean to use a high vigor hero, etcetera.

Looking at the comments here and other playthroughs, Blonde Blazer's still getting her back kicked in for the "business dinner" incident in Chapter 1, and I understand why. But I think Chapter 4 especially makes it clear that she's lowkey as much of a mess interally as Invisigal, but has a better job masking it. Like I think her "mixed signals" people are complaining about are more emotional incompetence / being in a weird headspace pre-breakup with Phenomoman than anything really manipulation. That said everyone can have their opinion. Imo she's definitely holding out on *something* , and I think she's secretly connected to Shroud in some way. But I don't like how quick people are to have a strong/immovable opinion on a character halfway through a decision-based story like this.
shes a cool character! id love it if she actually is connected to shroud in one way or another. would add a lot of depth to her character as a whole
In my humble opinion, while I get what people are saying about Blonde Blazer, I think it's just kinda an unfair comparison tbh because Invisigal has had way more character development than Blonde Blazer and people are treating it like they both had the same development. The story literally steers us towards liking Invisigal and pushes her front and center in a lot of scenes. Meanwhile, Blonde Blazer isn't really given as much time to shine. So yeah, simply for that reason alone I'd have gone with Blonde Blazer to figure her out more, I like that she's a bit mysterious.

Coupe was an option cause Visi and Mel are both good at mobility and attacking, so no need for 3 people of the same use, and Sonar was an option cause Flambae could fly just like him, also no need for another person of the same strength. Golem is the only Defensive Hero we have access too, it’d be mentally insane to drop him, then your left without a tank and in Defend missions that’s not smart

The first half of the third episode is so interesting gameplay wise! Seeing as how the sabotage actually aligns with what would the character do and respond with, giving us a glimpse of their personalities through their actions, I just can't have enough of this game and I hope this will soon be one of Jay's favorite game this year

At first I thought that Invisigal and Robert would have a father daughter type of dynamic after the scene where she's standing in front of the leaderboard with her phone. Mostly because then I thought that she was the age range of 18-23 or sum like that while Robert was in his 30s, but then I did my research and apparently she's 27 while Robert is 26 (maybe it was mentioned at the first two episodes and I just didn't see or hear). When the dream scene came I was kinda thrown off ngl. Also I love Ur vids 🫶
Combat tips: Wait till you start the next call to allow time for your other members to finish and rest, use team synergy for extra Xp and higher success rate the synergies are Flambae and prsim, visi and golem, Sonar and Mal and punch up with Coop. And in my experience spreading stats after getting 4 in each is more affective so multiple heros can do multiple things so whens occupied your not stuck
You know who I’m really sus about ? Royd. The guy was a bit too disappointed/angry to not find the Astral Pulse. Plus Robert’s father sent him in jail, I suspect a secret grudge.

Robert lowkey has chemistry with everyone i think the only issue with it comes to the Invisigal and Blonde Blazer situation is their is actually very limited scenes with Blonde Blazer in that manner compared to invisgal but either choice is great and interesting in my opinion
The unrealistic choice thing that pissed me off with Life is Strange and continues here is that I would talk and say that Coop and Sonar were more useful and tried harder than Prism or Golem and it's worse to have Coop on the opposite side
