New Zealand on Air is a broadcast funding agency focused on funding New Zealand programs. It was formed in 1989 in Wellington. The company was established under the Broadcasting Act 1989, meant to encourage individuals to pay the historical Broadcasting Fee that funded public broadcasters. The fee was eventually scrapped in 1999, and NZOA now receives funding directing from the Ministry for Culture and Heritage.

The entirety of the logo because:
It's a first logo to used a Māori Language. Seeing logo with a rare language such as Galician, Catalan, Scottish Gaelic (such as Grampian Television (Rare) and Scottish Television (Also Rare)) and etc. is such a legendary logo! (except bad ones)
Funding using "broadcasting fee". Sounds like a edgy profit.
Intersect with other TV networks like TVNZ. Sound like a good combo there.
