Aussie here 🙋🏼♀️ Mcobeauty is also sold in our largest supermarket, Woolworths, Big W (similar to Walmart) and our largest Drug Store chain, Chemist Warehouse. The products can be a little hit and miss, mostly a hit though, however I personally really enjoy their skincare range more than anything. There are often 40-50% off sales on their products and that's the only time I actually purchase them, which makes them more affordable. So if you're interested in trying the brand, perhaps wait and see if they use the same marketing techniques in the US and you may be able to pick them up for half price. Thanks for reviewing an Australian brand Risa. It's not often I can say that I have easy access to purchase all of the products you feature in a video. Happy Easter ✝️
I've had the B-Bronzi on my wishlist for a long while since Stephanie Marie loves them to add color to foundations. I actually have planned to purchase on the next Sephora sale. It's good to see your POV on this as well. And wonderful MCO video here. I always love how you don't hold back in your reviews. ❤
Those bronzing drops remind me of a Bonne Bell product in a tube I used in my early teens ( I’m 62), I loved it back then but that being said I did not wear foundation at all back then. I agree with your theory, foundation over them defeats its purpose.
I saw this brand yesterday at our King Sooper (owned by Kroger) & was very curious. Kind of surprised at the higher-than-most drugstore pricing. Great timing on the reviews. Thank you!!
Hi Risa we have MCo in New Zealand as we of course are close to Australia. Some makeup you call drugstore like Revlon isnt that cheap here and some of the other drugstore brands are either very limited of not here at all.
I’ve heard that. It’s such a bummer for you guys. That said, you have some amazing clothing brands in NZ and Australia that I wish we had in the US! (Laws and politicians too, but that’s a whole other topic!)
Yes agree MCo is rubbish sold at Woolworths supermarkets only and frankly is about double the price it's worth. I only buy it on sale and only the tubing mascara. The rest is low quality. So many other brands are way better!
The bronzing drops I've tried it 3 ways, under, in, and on my foundation and like the latter 2 applications. I have a couple of foundations I use it in to adjust the shade, and others I like it atop as a traditional bronzer. You are right about the underneath application, though, I find it doesn't really show through that well, unless I am using something light, like a skin tint.
You look gorgeous! I love the light-up lip gloss 😍Cute and practical. And such a pretty color on you, too. Too Faced (I think it was) used to make a mascara with a light on the wand and a mirror on the side of the square tube. I found it in my makeup drawer the other day. It was stuck waaayyy in the back. I'm not using it. I kept it for nostalgia purposes 😊
hi Risa, I use the isle of paradise face tan drops, 1. So i dont look so washed out and dead without makeup. 2. I self tan and i use them to tan my face to match the body tan. They arent supposed to work like a glowing filter under makeup. I mix it with moisturiser on a no makeup day and let it do its thing. I dont think its supposed to be applied direct to the face under makeup. It nice to have a bit of colour when i wake up. Plus its way to weird looking to tan my body but not my face 😊
I totally agree with you, I guess I didn’t convey very well what I meant. I see soooo many people using these drops under their makeup, which is why I spent so much time addressing it, and then said I can understand using it to deepen foundation or for a no-makeup makeup day! 😊
Also speaking of aussie brands, have you tried naked sundays? Lots of skincare and lip oils etc with 50spf very nice products. They also include nice glowy sunscreens. I use the collagen primer under my makeup. Good for us ladies in our 40s ❤
It’ll probably go on sale here too very soon. I think the price point is just too high for makeup you buy at the grocery store, and I believe others would agree.
The sale has finished ..but I took advantage of it, everything is so expensive in Australia...whatever the price in America it's double plus shipping here!!! So that makes this product cheaper and more accessible... but after sale, it's no cheaper than Revlon, L'Oréal etc...
MCO beauty has a few products that remind me of Charlotte Tilbury, I actually quite like them. But yes they do have a brow pencil and I love it. Obviously i am in Australia so I can get them easily 😊. Ps u look beautiful!!!!
I’m thinking maybe the bronzing drops work better with just a skin tint? I don’t know bc I’ve never tried them. Just a guess 🤷♀️ your makeup always looks so beautiful and on point 😊 you are stunning! Especially when you smile 💖🌸 you have such a pretty smile. I love blush and I thought all three of the blushes were beautiful. Have a great rest of your day! Hugs! 💜🌸
I saw swatches of the fair/light contour wand and it looked way too warm and orange IMO, nothing like the CT shade. But the medium/dark looks a lot better. I have fair skin, but if I use a small amount I can use deeper products no problem, which I often do since lighter ones can lean so warm. I was interested in the dupes for the CT Matte Blush wands but even though the outside packaging looks exact, down to the colors of the tubes, the shades inside are pretty far off. I thought that was so odd 😂 Why match the outside so close, even color of tubes, but then not the shade inside?! 🤷♀️ Also some of the prices are crazy! Like they have a dupe for the L’Oréal Tinted Serum and it’s like $30 instead of like $14 for L’Oréal. A lot of people from Australia said compared to the price of L’Oréal there, $30 for the MCo is more affordable. That makes sense. But if MCo is coming into the US, you think they’d compare the prices to what they’re duping and adjust accordingly. 🤷♀️
That's what happens to me those laminators lift it , so I try 1rst ..then do brows if going that way. Or I just barely tap it on ..bc I have sparse brows and don't want it move all around 😉😘 Still Good look on you , and blush and colors are pretty ❤
I love that new Makeup by Mario neutrals palette. Is the Ethereal Eyes palette the same formula? I would appreciate your opinion. I have wanted to buy it but not sure. 🤔
@@RisaDoesMakeup I love the contrast! So that what it was! I knew something was different but couldn’t pin point exactly what it was… I love it Risa! ❤️
I think the blushes are quite pretty. But,not blown away by the other products. I feel there are far better drugstore products with far better quality that these. But,as always they look lovely on you!
It's not just you who doesn't understand the putting bronzering drops under makeup just seems like a wasted step to me. And the blush drops just disappear on me in two seconds..
It bothers me when dupe companies make the packaging so similar to the products they are duplicating. I understand being inspired to create a similar product at a lower price point but when they also copy the packaging that’s just too much for me and it makes me not want to even try the products.
I looked this company up and they have gotten into "hot water" for copying packaging of their so-called dupes. I am not sure what that meant but I would assume lawsuits. If you look at the flawless filter "dupe," the bottle is the same and they are also copying packaging from Dior. Tati showed them side by side. Allie also did a video on this company which I did not watch. I personally have a problem with people who cannot seem to come up with their own ideas and just copy others not to mention sell it at a lower cost but you have to look at the contents, how much is in the packaging. If you look at Elf's products, it seems like they would last two weeks or less. Sure they can sell cheap when you don't get much or have really crappy ingredients. Anyway, love your channel but will pass on this company just as I pass on Elf. Seems to me that there are female owned independent companies that are coming up with great products, new ideas, their own packaging. Tati and Nikki La Rose both show companies like that all the time. Sorry this comment was so long.
Just so you all know even elf products are significantly more expensive the elf halo skin is $35 dollars in Australia with very limited availability L'Oreal and Maybelline are also over $30 dollars mco is usually having a half price sale at either our major supermarket chain a main department store and pharmacies so we would usually purchase it at fifty percent off and the drunk elephant dbronzi drops are $65 dollars in Australia
I did link the products to Kroger that will ship if you’re interested! Also, a I noticed that a few of the products are available on Amazon or Target online.
I live in Australia. I have some mco beauty products. These products are not dupes. They just have similar packaging. Mco beauty is hit and miss. I use their clear brow gel and stopped buying ABH one. Blushes are pretty. Extension mascara is consistently top seller and I tried it,it's good. Touche eclat dupe is useless, multistick is ok. I also tried powder that looks like CT powder packaging but not anywhere as good. They are cheaper in Australia ( everything else is more expensive though ) and often on sale.
Jam so curious about the products. They are supposed to be dupes for all. Can’t wait. Does it say anywhere what it’s supposed to dupe like or ? How do we know what the lux company is or product ?? ❤I don’t get the bronze thing either. I’m fair and even by itself , it’s too dark. No. Ha. I love the way you did your shadow today really nice. Have you ever worked with cancer survivors? I need brow help. I have lost all my body hair twice, about 6yrs apart , and my right brow never fully came back. I also have blond brows, so making a tail end always looks fake, like I am a drag queen. Cheap, expensive. Help
Hi! Yes, I have. My beauty boutique that I owned from 2007 to 2011 was located across from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and I helped many people going through cancer treatments. At the time my favorite product for the brows was from Smashbox. It was a brow powder on one side and a pomade on the other. I don’t think it exists anymore, but I definitely recommend using some sort of brow powder with an angled brow brush, and then setting it with a long wearing gel like the ABH brow freeze or Benefit’s 24ht brow setter. I came here to say the same thing!
I love the realness of your videos. Very relatable.
Thank you so much! I appreciate it!
That’s why underpainting never works for me. I really try but I end up blending away everything with foundation on top.
I use the D-Bronzi drops in my body lotion. Use generously for a nice look for arms, legs, chest, etc...
That’s a great idea!
I mix bronzing drops into foundation when I put a tan on. Don’t have to buy a darker foundation
Maybe try adding a few bronzing drops to your foundation. I believe it may work better that way. Love your videos! Thanks so much!
I love that blush wand! Everything looks beautiful on you Risa!😍
I would love one of the lip lights!!
Thank you so much for doing this review! I saw it at my local Kroger and was SO curious if it was worth picking up.
I loved the color of that blush wand - so perfect!
You look like the 90s supermodel, Claudia Schiffer❤ thx for the honest review

I use super goop with my foundation and mix together then put it on, gives me a great bronzy glow

In Australia this brand can be REALLY cheap during sales. At the moment the whole range is 50% off at one retailer.
I haven't bought any of their beauty products, but I have bought their version of the beauty blender and it's fantastic!
It’s a very pretty look, though. You did a great job!
