Like you ive watched tuna fishing off the grand banks off American! And there getting blue fin on squid ! Do you think thats why bluefin tuna have turned up ? Squid were not here 20 years ago .

True Blue from Poole fishes for them off Torquay with marine specialists in board and catches and releases! It's annoying enough a private fisherman with a boat cannot keep cod or bass to eat personaly ! So they should buy same fish from supermarkets ( possibly farmed , with no taste and not fresh) ! Will they stop us targeting them as well ! I get it fish stocks are low ! I'd love to know how much fish in supermarkets gets binned due to going off ? Pleasure fisherman in my book are getting penalised for some reason! Do they know how expensive it is to run a boat / buy bait / tackle! Then have to put back what you would love to eat ! The government wants is to eat healthy 🤔. What would happen if you hooked into a tuna ? Probably get a prison sentence larger that a violent crime !! Fingers crossed that some one in power has common sense and let's tuna fishing happen?!

Bait and dinner, cephalopods are awesome. Using a boat sure beats being surrounded by people on a pier, all jostling for space.
