𝄞 The Yard of Colors | Episode 12 | Tribute to Stavros Kougioumtzis | HQ

On Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 10 pm, on ERT2, the journalist Athena Kampakoglou and the composer Christos Nikolopoulos, have prepared a journey… in the past with the wonderful songs left by the charismatic composer as a valuable musical legacy.
Stavros Kougioumtzis was deeply human, in the way he approached his art and people. He stood out for his direct, intense personal style, his delicate clean melodies. In every verse and note of Stavros Kougioumetzis, the passions, the complaints, the bitterness but also the dreams, the "want" and the nostalgia of the people were imprinted with innocence.
It was loved, moved and continues to this day to move the older and new generations.
The great artists Babis Tsertos, Lizeta Kalimeri, Zacharias Karounis and Vassilis Prodromou perform thousands of sung, adored pieces in the tribute.
The show also features the daughter of the great musician and composer, Maria Kougioumetzi, who unfolds her father's physiognomy and performs his pieces.
In our company and one of the most important composers of his generation, George Kazantzis, who has written the great success of "Bees", the eponymous TV series. He comes from Thessaloniki, also the birthplace of Stavros Kougioumetzis and tells us about the friendship and collaborations he had with him.
The tribute could not miss George Dalaras, the beloved and closest collaborator, for decades, of Stavros Kougioumetzis. The popular singer, in a recorded message, speaks with great love for his companion

Mr. Christos Nikolopoulos is one of the iconic, unforgettable, great artists and the Beethoven and one of the magicians of the Bouzouki players of heavenly nice Greek music in this century.
