Having listen to many of your presentation I noted there is nothing about testing which is in my opinion essential to develop a successful trading plan. This is the reason number one for traders to lose their account.
Also, you did not given any presentation on Risk management which is the reason number two.
I think these subject should be addressed in priority.
Now a comment about the establishment of a stoploss. In your method 1. By definition, when there is no gap, ATR provides an “average” of the True Range.
So using the support/resistance, it is OK to add/subtract the ART multiply by a constant but the value that you are proposing are too high.
Here is why: the True Range shows a log normal distribution, like a normal distribution slightly skewed that can be approximated to a normal distribution. If so a multiplier of 2 means that only 2.28% of the TRs would be higher, a multiplier of 3 means that only 0.135%. As for a multiplier of 5 this suggest that only 0.0000287% could be greater which is too much, exposing you to too important losses.

Does anyone have insight into why my ATR is reading in decimals vs whole numbers? I'm using Tradingview, if that makes a difference.
Great video !! Just a question as u suggested Multiplier 1 -3 for Stoploss but for Target we are directly using the ATR ,no Multipliers ? Will that be 2 (Risk) : 1 (reward) ?? Just to know for learning purpose i asked this question. Thank you
