Hi thanks for watching and commenting and glad I brought back a few memories. Last five weeks been really frustrating with wind, weed, rain and no fish but got to keep at it so no vids but this weekend going Sunday and hopeful as the ever optimistic fisherman always are which makes us keep going😂 although my secret weapon this weekend is a boat. I have fond memories of fishing at Littlehampton with my uncle who introduced me to fishing sadly long gone from this life. Take care Paul 👍🐠🐠😃
Thanks Ian for watching and commenting and yep very rare these days, bloody hot day. Have been down in Deal for the week with wife and my daughter who is back from Dubai for a couple of weeks which is great as have not seen her for over a year and a half. Am also buying a house down in Deal to be by the sea. Will let you know when I am next down Selsey/ Pagham way take care Paul 👍👍🐠🐠
Great to see you at the river in little hampton a fierce tidal pull there .... Fished it a few times over the years never with great results but fun all the same . Thanks for sharing .. Regards carl
Hi Carl you really have to get the tide right there and as you say ruddy fierce pull through. Did not have much choice as all round that area was weed and more weed. If not weather then weed. But had a bit of fun and took me back to when I was a kid. Thanks for watching and commenting much appreciated take care Paul 👍👍🐠🐠
Lovely vid Paul , really enjoyed that . I remember my Nan and Grandad taking me to Littlehampton as a youngster and seeing all the fishermen lining the shore, my Grandad was a keen fisherman too , great memories, 👍 . Enjoy Sunday on the boat , and as always I look forward to the next vid ,be lucky 🎣👍
Hi fellow thanks for the kind words and glad I brought back happy memories makes me feel I have achieved something positive in difficult times. Old fisherman never die as they live on in our thoughts and include my uncle in this miss the chap every day. Just back from an ace day on the boat 3.20 am start and back home at 10.20pm will make video tomorrow cheers Paul 👍👍👍👍
Thank you and my wife funnily enough was talking about be careful around the Hamptons and have been given a preparation to rub on by the local dog warden that she swears by😂 I think it’s going to be baking hot but who knows what we might catch. Completely knackered when I got home yesterday as 3.30am start and same on Sunday 🤞🤞🤞👍👍cheers Paul
Hi fella good luck at Hayling and yep weather good but mate down that way is saying the same, weed and more weed. Am going to Sheppey again on Saturday as know there are fish there lol 😂 and Sunday to Dungeness 🤞hope you catch stay safe and cheers for watching and the positive comment 👍👍🐠🐠
Hi Paul , great vid , I used to live just along the road to the east of the river at the bend of sea lane , best fishing there for bass is near the boat mooring pontoons as huge schools of bass hang about there along with some very large mullet . keep up the good work .
Hi Keith thanks for the local knowledge and next it is a windy day and sea difficult to fish will give it a go by the boats. Cheers for watching and the advice 👍🎣🎣
Message for Leslie thanks for watching and hints on fishing prawns tried to respond to your comment but for whatever reason unable to good old technology lol.
Hi paul enjoyed that mate. It brought bk a few memories myself of light fishing in the marina behind grimsby docks. Havn't done if for donkys since we was all kids. I think i mite invest in a little rod n reel and give it s go for somthing different. Good luck for sunday hope you got your sea legs lol. All the best from GY.
Made me feel like a kid again like you. Surprisingly exciting and have not caught an eel in over 15 years loved it. Baking hot down here at allotment today and boat tomorrow stay safe cheers Paul
Thanks Martin for watching and commenting and yes does show you fish are remarkable creatures living in every nook and cranny. Have a good weekend cheers Paul👍👍
Bobby you are bang on I get the two mixed up and the clue I need to remember is Arundel, hence the river Arun 😂 the Adur is out my neck of the woods 👍🎣🎣 cheers Paul
Nice video 👍🏼 I live local to that river , and been fishing there most the time I’ve been fishing , caught so many eels , bass , smelt , flounder decent river to be honest, I have subscribed aswell 🎣happy fishing 👍🏼
You are a star for subbing makes the trips worth it. I like rivers because of the never know what you might catch moment and the beach was unfishable. Baking hot but was exciting to see a few bites on a day that would have meant getting back in car and going home take care cheers Paul 👍👍🐠🐠
@@SeaFishingWithPaul no problem, and yeah that’s why I fish that river most days after work 🤣never know when I could pull out a 5lb bass , yeah does get hot down the beach when suns out reflecting of the water , ive fished where you was but never caught from there only up the river a bit more 👍🏼
@@SeaFishingWithPaul well I move up and down all the time , today I went for about 3 hours down near Tesco near the bridge going into Ford , caught 2 eels 1 small and the other was a proper decent size other then that it was alright today 👌🏽
@@rfhookers7213 will get down that way late October and will let you know if you fancied a fish with me and Andy. Not many eels around nowadays and good to hear a few around I love catching them as always reminds me of my uncle cheers Paul
Hi Logan have only been there a couple of times and many years ago with my uncle now long gone. Fancy going back as looks an interesting area and where do you reckon I should try? Cheers for watching and commenting Paul 👍👍🐠🐠🐟
@@BirchandBait Hiya Max and big thanks for the sub. Am in process of packing my house up down south and moving to a house next to the sea in Yorkshire and heading there last week of October so will be up and running with films from a new beach where the local guys are catching a few codling. As for filming I use an iPad on a tripod, a GoPro, an Insta 360 camera and drone for aerial shots and shots looking at beach from sea low down. Sound is a wireless Rode system used by people on TV as quality is really good. You have to be careful using iPad in rain and I have a cover specifically to stop water getting in. Occasionally I use my iPhone but sound quality not the best particularly in the wind. I have tried other cameras and sound equipment when I first started but quality generally wins and much lighter to carry. I have battery back up packs as recording uses a lot of power reserve quickly and also have a spare set of wireless sound microphones as back up. Hope that helps and take care cheers 👍😃🐟🐟
also if you want a large bass try the beach immediately next to the river mouth on the east side and only a max of the third or even second breakout as the big girls hit the large shoals of mackerel that haunt the area . tight lines .K P
Hi Keith cannot beat local knowledge and will give it a crack next I am down that way. Am out this weekend for long session to Dungeness and weather so far looking ok a couple of others joining me take care Paul
What a lovely little vid. Light tackle brings back that childhood excitemet. Thank you.
Hi Paul I sometimes think we should try using light tackle more often and am going to have a go later in the year in Shoreham basin cheers 👍🎣🎣🍺
good old west beach aka the nudist beach where peeps strip in the dunes, I miss my old hometown of Littlehampton so many memories of it growing up

I'm sure it was a slip, but it's the Arun, not Adur, there at Littlehampton.

Can I just check, do you need a licence to fish in Littlehampton?
No you do not need a license to fish in the sea or tidal estuary unless you were specifically targeting sea trout. 👍
