2 MISCREANTS APPREHENDED FOR STEALING FROM NLTV OFFICE

- On November 12 two persons were caught stealing AC copper pipe at NLTV Office by the West Police Station police personnel. The miscreants (both drug addicts) were identified as Ajay Shah of Dellia under Karbi Anglong district, Assam and Babu Nayak of Surupathar under Bokajan district Assam.
Earlier, NLTV staff had noticed that some ACs in the office were not functioning. While on checking it was found out that copper pipes of seven ACs were cut out. Immediately an FIR was lodged at West Police station on November 11 and police personnels led by UBSI Lipok Longchari visited NLTV office and investigated. However, again on November 12, around 3 a.m two persons were caught by the police while they were trying to flee. Upon interrogation, the duo admitted to the police that they were the same person who cut the ACs copper pipe on November 11 and also admitted that they are the abusers of Sunflower drugs and residents of footpath Dimapur.
Upon further investigation, it was found out that they even stole copper pipes from ICICI bank AC a few months back. Both the miscreants were booked under IPC Section 380/34

Heard about such similar cases from two three churches few weeks ago. The increasing rate of robery in Dimapur is alarming. Save Dimapur.
