Thank you very much for your informative video 😊😊
👍
A5C with 19dbi SECTOR I can serve customer 15 km away with lhg mikrotik 24.5 dbi
The C5x mounting looks kind of chintzy to be able to handle the load on it when coupled to your 25db dish. I would think that the wind load produced by strong winds would put quite a stress on the radio itself.. Do you have any data on the survive-ability of such a combination?
We've tested the C5x + the 25 dBi dish with the FlexiMount XL, and it's been solid at 100+ mph winds.
How much data can be transfered on c5x in 20km distance
is it possible to connect other brands of equipment with mimosa in a PTMP?
wanted to use the ptmp mimosa c5c and another antenna model on clients receiving the signal is this possible?
forgive english i'm brazilian and i'm using google translator
If you're using an A5c access point, you can set it to "WiFi Interop" mode to allow other client radio brands to connect to it (PTMP). The range won't be as far, though.
How setup Radius with mimosa A5X and C5 client +G2?

Sir kindly guide me what routers antenna USG i need to buy to instalm my network. I am fresh Telecom Engineer please guide me.
Thankss
Please start by watching our How to Start a WISP podcast series. There are a lot of variables when it comes to choosing the right equipment. But an A5 (short-range) or A5c (long-range) access point with C5x or C5c client radios work in most cases.

Mimosa Networks thanks sir
Is it possible that you powered on A5c without antenna attached on it?
This was just for testing and demonstration purposes. The A5c should always have an attached antenna.

how far away are you from the tower you are connecting too?
It varies depending on the antennas you're using (gain). It can be a couple hundred feet to 10+ miles.

sine your life away you got jokes :)
Can this work anywhere in the world?
Yes, it can. Certain countries just have spectrum regulations, so just need to make sure to use the right frequencies.
it's compatible any ubiquiti product like litebeam m5 or litebeam 5ac gen2?
It can be used with other 3rd party client radios if WiFi interop mode is enabled in the settings. This essentially makes the A5c like a WiFi router.
why are those speeds so low? i thought the speed would be at 500+/- mbps
The C5x is capable of up to 700 Mbps. But that is dependent on the environment and, more importantly, the internet backbone connection. In the office we conducted this test at, the internet speed package only allows up to 50 Mbps.
@@MimosaCo One would think that in order to demonstrate its 700Mbps capability, you would ensure to have access to internet with greater speeds than 50Mbps
85 bucks just for the CPE which doesn't even come with a poe or dish? I'll stick with my ubiquiti gen2 litebeams for 50 bucks.
I definitely like the concept though. I love your software but the overall quality of your equipment is kind of crap. Maybe this new stuff is better but your first line of products didn't hold up to the weather that well.
Hi Dustin,
You are correct that the C5x is 85 dollars, that it doesn't come with a PoE or a dish. The C5x offers versatility to use several different antenna sizes with different gains between 12 and 25dBi. You aren't stuck with just one 23dBi option on our radio.
Also while the Litebeam Gen2 might do 80MHz in PTP mode, it doesn't in PTMP mode. You get 80MHz in both modes with the C5x. We also operate from 4.9GHz (for public safety links) to 6.4GHz. We're ready for when the FCC opens the 5.9 to 6.7GHz band without having to worry about a new radio!
The C5x is also made out of die-cast aluminum instead of plastic to handle harsh environments all around the world. It uses less power than the Litebeam Gen 2 and most importantly: The C5x has a much better FtB ratio and FtS ratio so more of the energy goes in the direction you actually want it to.
As they always say: you get what you pay for!
@@dustinstock9556 How about connecting second c5x to A5c, would it re-use the same 5205 mhz freq or can I manually/DFS guided set different freq on second radio in A5c (second pair of connectors)?
In particular could I connect two c5x and achieve ~500mbps to each simultanously, 1000mbps in total ?
how fast are your speeds with the ubiquiti gen2 litebeams?
