Awesome video ! Your instructions and showing the electrical post and how you use it was very helpful to and I love your organization of your hookups/ cords kept in that bag 👍
Thanks for your help! I really do look forward to your channel 😊

Thank you! I remember the first time I saw a power post... I was totally baffled!
You might like a few of the other electrical appliances for cooking videos, as well as gear videos ( the items make great gifts!!!🎁)

@@avianmariner I agree with Darlene - VERY helpful. I haven't taken off yet - hopefully this June - and was thinking how hand it would be to use a camp spot with a power post, but wasn't sure how to get power from it. I didn't know they have 110 outlets! (The standard 20amp plug that looks like the ones in our houses.) And I didn't know about that nifty 30A-110 converter! Nice. I also like the way you store them.
I'm off to watch more of your videos. Already watched the Part 1 to this one. Thanks for that one, too. FAB.

I just realized I've watched more videos than I thought and this isn't a followup video. I watched your video showing how many cooking appliances you can use on a small power station, and then watched the followup, and then I kept going and moved on to more. Forgot I was on to more! HA! *taps temple* Mind like a steel sieve.

I try to make videos based on my experiences, "in the wild" and the things I didn't understand, or that might make life easier!

Hope you are enjoying your Rice Cooker/Steamer. I love mine and I actually use it for "real foods" much more often than my 3qt Instant Pot. I fix most any veggies, fish, soups, stews, reheating foods, and some desserts are perfect for fixing in it. I oftentimes put a mini round non-stick cake pan inside with water on inside the original steamer pot to reheat or fix certain items that are not water based. I found the round mini cake pans at both Walmart and Michael's. Anyway, your camp site looked great for an Overnighter. Taylor looked mighty comfy hogging up your bed as you filmed, mine would have taken notes from Taylor and done the same. Be well, Be safe ❤ 🙏 .

Thank you. I like the mini cake pan suggestion!
Taylor tried to get into the sleeping bag while he was soaking wet from a,
"necessary" walk. He's so silly ! I toweled him drier with a sham-wow and let him curl up on a quilt
Thanks for watching ( and commenting! )

Showing the power pedestal set up was very educational for me. Thanks for that. And the use of foam inserts in the window is genius. Thanks for sharing.

The windows are covered by custom shades... I sewed black fabric on the outward facing because I don't like to advertise sleeping in a van ( silver windows are a giveaway! )
Yelloproauto.com is where I ordered them from 😊
Thank you for watching the channel!

The first time I went to a campground ( years ago) and saw one of the power pillars, I was a bit confused! 20? 30? 50? What!!! ?
I was familiar with 110 ( and 220 ) but wasn't sure about the other ones...
      Thanks for watching 😊

I’m almost through your videos now and we own a rice cooker. We often stay in hotel when visiting family and it never occurred to us to bring it. We always get the kitchenette so this is going to happen from now on.

Great! Rice cookers are so versatile! I rarely eat out when traveling. Better for healthy eating.

When you cook a meal, especially meats or stews, you can use a Seal A Meal or Daisy Seal machine to vacuum seal and freeze it for later in your steamer pot when camping. Just put some water in the pot and let the pot heat the water and steam heat your foods of choice. Meatloaf is great for this method and makes a great Diner-style open-faced sandwich. Pork chops are great for this too. If you don't own a vacuum seal machine maybe consider one for make ahead breakfast casseroles and such. A real lifesaver on rainy camping days and on travel days...to have a few in your van's fridge or freezer.

As always, great ideas! I love your comments :) Sous Vide in a hot pot.
I do have a Cabela's Food sealer. Usually, I food seal burgers and smaller flat things for my travel refrigerator / freezer. I also pre measure things to bake with, (flour, sugar, baking soda and powder, cornmeal etc.) for camping food, and pressure seal those (they stay fresh, and buggies don't get in).
If you ever start a, "fishing / cooking / travel ideas" channel (you should) I'm in!

@@avianmariner You're the best, I almost 75 so I'm probably not gonna start a RUclips channel for most things Outdoorsy BUT OUTDOORSY has been my life long love and I still Motorcoach and Conversion Van camp most of the year. Tent camping and motor scooter (VESPA SCOOTERS) were my first choice for many decades. Nowadays Wintering in Florida for a slower pace in the Motorcoach... As for RUclips I'd do it in a Hot Minute if I were younger and had more physical mobility. I'm enjoying watching you do it. RUclips Creators are some of the sweetest and kindness Humanitarians 💗 on the planet. CAMP WELL, EAT WELL, ENJOY IT ALL.
